US and EU officially declared Russia responsible. Biden directly blamed Russia, on camera, during a press conference. Other lying scumbags like Blinken and Brennan did publicly as well.

Not to parse it too finely but I did say I hadn't heard of any evidence when all the accusations/speculation were being bandied about...

Feel free to call bs on this post. This is only my opinion.

We may never know the evidence behind the arrest warrant for the Ukrainian. Reason.

How the evidence was obtained is secret. My guess is they do not want to reveal the militarys surveillance capabilities of that area.

So now Western governments are blaming Ukraine for blowing up the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. After initially illogically claiming that Russia blew up their own pipeline.

Now the story is the CIA learned about the plan and told Ukraine not to do it, but they went ahead and did it anyway. And the NATO decided to cover up for them, and now all of a sudden they want to arrest those involved? Does this narrative make a lick of sense to anyone? I sure as hell does not to me.

And let's not forget Anthony Blinkin praising the event.

This pretty much establishes that Ukraine blew up Nordstream. What the story doesn't mention (why?) is that both Nordstream 1 and 2 had already been shut down at that time. They also try to act like there was a lot of damage to German and European economies, saying gas prices surged after the explosion. Gas prices did rise 14 % at that time, but they had already TRIPLED after russia invaded Ukraine. It's also odd that the writer chose to highlight drinking at a planning meeting. And it's odd that there was only one writer, usually there is a team on a story like this. Seems to be an agenda here. https://www.wsj.com/world/europe/nord-stream-pipeline-explosion-real-story-da24839c

Maybe Russia shouldn't have invaded Ukraine?

Or maybe they should have. Who is to say? They needed to rescue the people that Ukraine was attacking. Maybe they needed to stand up to the US and NATO supporting violent and illegal coups. The Ukraine government could scarcely be called "legit" anyway, the transfer of power was against their own constitution.

No. That's a lie. Ukraine has been defending itself. Russia invaded in 2014 and Ukraine has been defending itself ever since.

Russia should not have invaded.

He threatened to block it. It has been blocked with the help of Germany since Russia's full invasion of Ukraine.

The US wouldn't gain anything by blowing it up.

What do you mean "block it"? It was completed in Sep 2021. What on earth do you honestly think this exchange made? He all but said "we will blow it up". The US also had no jurisdiction over it anyway. Though we are selling much more expensive natural gas to Europe now.

This is another example of how stupid many of these "fact checks" are. "Ahh, he didn't say 'we will blow it up' Fact Check: False".

Crimea celebrated this as well. Over 90% wanted to join Russia. There were no shots fired, no protests. They liberated Crimea.

It wasn't in use. Havent you ever had a drain plugged so water wouldn't flow through?

It was blocked by the US in cooperation with Germany the day of Russia's full invasion of Ukraine.

That is an absolute lie.
How so? There was a referendum and the people voted. They were tired of getting bombed by their own country. Not to mention the current government in Ukraine is the result of a US-backed coup and is basically illegitimate by every metric we use to judge other ‘bad guy’ countries.

And then it was blown up. You forgot that part.

Right, a Russian referendum under Putin.

Because Putin actually wins with over 90% of the vote in Russia. Saddam Hussein was also very popular in Iraq.

It never ceases to amaze me that some posters take exactly the same line as a country that keeps invading other countries under false pretenses, shuts down all dissent in their country and assasinates those who keep speaking out.

Literally the United States lol.

When your talking points revert back to Bush-era boogeyman propaganda i think the plot has been lost.

There is a report Ukraine has destroyed the major bridge into the Kursk area. There are 3 other bridges. But dropping this one causes the Russians the most problems.

It appears Ukraine is isolating the land they hold, creating natural barriers.

Yet another smart move by Ukraine, who are thinking 4 steps ahead of the Russians.
