Not true. When russia invaded in 2022, Ukraine had a few hundred hand held anti tank weapons and a few broken down humvees. They knocked russia out of Kyiv and back to the border with almost exclusively old soviet weapons. And a few Bayrakter drones.

Wise leaders understood that you need to be able to view things from the eyes of your opposition. Better to worry about Russias feelings then suffer the consequences of ww3.

We'll all die in a nuclear exchange. But at least I'll die knowing I'm not a fool.
 
Hmm, wonder if Belarus is about to participate in a joint invasion with Russia, deep into Ukraine, to knock out the Ukrainian regime. This is actually good, as it would bring a quicker end to the war.

Hoping that Ukraine fails is evil. There is no coming back from that. You're literally supporting the Hitler of our day.

I hope their government falls too, absolutely. Fuck them and their corrupt little napoleon leader. And LOL at the hitler comment. Russia defeated the Nazis bud, and lost millions to accomplish it. Same Nazis who just so happened to march through the same lands Ukraine and NATO have been encroaching and posturing on in recent times. Russia being defensive is no surprise. There is a long history in that region; you should study it some.

I have studied it. Nothing Russia did was defensive. It was offensive. Empire building. It was a grab for resources.

Once again, rooting for Russia to defeat Ukraine is evil. In every sense. I also want peace as soon as possible. In order for that to happen, Russia will have to stop and give back the land they've taken illegally. There are legal borders they have agreed to, and they need to retreat back to them and cease all aggression. Once they do that, I will support making Ukraine retreat to the their own territory.

You don’t though. You’ve been cheerleading this failed policy of propping up Ukraine since this all began, now hundreds of thousands are dead for a few acres here or there. Ukraine, the US and NATO provoked this conflict by lying about the expansion of NATO onto Russian borders, which had always been well known to be a hardline issue for Russia. Russia is doing exactly what they’ve warned they would do for years if NATO expansion continued. Russia attacked first but it was absolutely and intentionally provoked by the US, NATO and the puppet government of Ukraine.

A few acres? Russia was attacking the capital of Ukraine. There was a 40 mile column heading directly to Kyiv. Putin was clearly trying to take the whole country. Ukrainian resistance with help from their western allies is the only reason Ukraine is still a sovereign nation.

*Edit* Not to mention, Russia had already taken Crimea, which needs to be returned.

Further, NATO has never made any treaty with provisions regarding limiting membership or expansion. Russia signed a treaty guaranteeing to recognize and respect and even defend Ukraine's borders including Ukrainian Crimea.

Russia is the only country in this situation in violation of any treaties or agreements.

It's ironic you say that, since the Ukrainian regime literally embraces the Nazis. They have SS on their helmets.

I want their corrupt regime to fall, the US and NATO are using Ukrainian lives as pawns in their game of global domination and I want it to stop. I've wanted peace all along, but the west did not allow that to happen. Now the best option for everyone is a quick end, using conventional weapons.
 
Russia's military machine is broken. Their leaders are incompetent. The military industry supplying the machine is very corrupt.

In contrast, Ukraines leaders are showing a very high level of strategy. And their military industry is developing new weapons, such as long range jet drones, that Russia has not been able to stop.

The only way for Russia to win, maybe, is to go all in. Put the entire country on full war mode. Draft everyone available, and convert all of their factories to manufactoring war supplies.

Russia is running very low on large equipment. Ukraine has captured Russian artillery guns about 100 years old, built before WW2.

Even if Putin goes all in, I doubt the west will let him win.

This is a lie that Russia spreads with no evidence. Most Ukrainian soldiers do not have Nazi symbols on their helmets.

Ukraine is a very tolerant country and as such, they don't have rules or policies that prevent people from supporting anybody. Even racists. Ukraine has no more of a Nazi problem than the US.

Tolerance allows people to be stupid as well.

You have advocated for allowing aggressive Russian empire building. That's not peace. Allowing them to take Crimea only encouraged Russia to try and take Kyiv and the rest of Ukraine. That's why we're in this situation.
 
There is a unit in the Russian army, where many in that unit have nazi tattoos.

I do not have a link at my fingertips. But next time I run into them, I will post a link to the pictures of Russian soldiers with nazi tattoos.

Once again, you have no idea what you're talking about. Ukraine's military uniform is littered with Nazi symbolism. The current regimes embrace of Nazism and war criminals like Bandara was part of the original tension that lead to to people in the eastern regions wanting to separate for Ukriane.

Heck, even the NY times reports on it. Putin has stated that outsting these Nazi's is one of the key objectives.
