I was really enjoying this OT thread. @UKRAINEFAN was really trying to get us info. I felt like it was eye opening and refreshing instead of being spoon fed what CNN was showing us.
Unfortunately it has gone astray.
I'm done with the thread.
I'll check back in a week and see if it's gotten any better.

How would they take Kyiv? They're not invading, remember?

Looks to me like it's been cleaned up. Good job mods!

Is it more likely the secret service did this to undermine Putin or because they were afraid to tell him otherwise?

This is so terribly sad. Russia is becoming North Korea before our very eyes. All the people living this nightmare, after living with relative freedom before this, must be incredibly depressed right now.

I also think China's real intentions are becoming more evident. Everyone was worried they were going to go all in on Taiwan and really start ww3. It seems now that they are working on an economic takeover of Russia. It appears they are buying up all Russian commodities for pennies on the dollar and working on "investing" in all Russia's major corporations. When the dust settles Russia will be a vassal state of China. Image how much of a force china will be in a few years after they own Russia's natural resources.....

Very sad. It's hard to pity Russia with this going on, but I'm sure a majority of their citizens deserve it with how their freedoms are being trampled on.

Yeh, it's a little discouraging that we can't all be together on this.

Maybe Putin should have got his head out of his ass and done a little reading over the last 8 years; he would have known things were a lot different now.

Terrifying... And they've been doing this with many African countries as well, have they not?

big time but at least Africa need lots of infrastructure built first. Russia has it mostly done and ready to go
Lots and lots of people who will work for cheap though... Making drone armies, etc... Scary... and also tons of natural resources

Between endemic corruption and traditional Russian xenophobia I suspect China would soon suffer buyer's remorse.
