As you can see, all targets appear to be apartment buildings, not military bases. Uman is far, far from the front and is considered a sacred city by Jewish people, who go there for a mass pilgrimage every year.

STOCKHOLM – Florida’s Republican governor, Ron DeSantis – a prospective U.S. presidential candidate – recently created a stir by describing Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine as a mere “territorial dispute” that does not bear on America’s core strategic interests. Following immediate, heavy criticism and a drop in his approval numbers, DeSantis sought to roll back his remarks. But the argument remains in circulation, and DeSantis is hardly the only one peddling it.

History can help us sort out whether there is any merit to DeSantis’s description of the conflict. Did Adolf Hitler have a “territorial dispute” with Poland when he launched his blitzkrieg against his neighbor in September 1939? Hitler himself sometimes framed matters in these terms, such as when he spoke of his duty to protect German speakers in Poland. But such rhetoric was always just a smokescreen to divert attention from the real objective. Hitler wanted to eliminate the independent Poland that had re-emerged after World War I, thereby paving the way for Germany’s eastward expansion.

Ukraine hits 10 oil tanks (with a drone) serving russian navy in Sevastopol, in the heart of Crimea. Interesting fact: russia controlled the city of Sevastopol for all the years since Ukraine independence; Ukraine leased the port and city to them. This of course made it easy for them to launch the military takeover of Crimea in 2014.
 
Ukraine prepares for the counter offensive. The brave soldiers at Bakmut and Marinka fight in the streets even 50 meters apart to allow time for the preparations,

Yeah, I read yesterday that China had changed its position and meant to post the link but forgot.
 
I could see China wanting to take Russia down because of the reliance on products they import from them being reduced and at risk.
 
Anyone else following this obvious Russian propaganda?...there are many holes in this claim...but at this point, Putin is simply grasping at straws...any straw for that matter.

Don't think Ukraine did that. some thought that russia did it itself to justify a strike at Zelensky, but wouldn't that be too embarassing to admit that a drone could get that close to the Kremlin? Most likely russian partisans, who have been quite active lately blowing up trains.

Oh, I'm sure Ukraine didn't do it.

1. it was done at 2-3 in the morning when Putin would not be there anyway.
2. it was a very light explosion.
3. the flag didn't get burned or even move.
4. Ukraine does not have a drone that will go that far
5. that part of the Kremlin is very heavily protected against any such attack.
6. no need for Ukraine to assassinate Putin...his own people will likely take care of that themselves.


My only concern is that Putin will use this falsehood as an excuse to use nukes.

Hard to know what is the truth when it comes to russia. Medvedev already threatening to assassinate Zelensky

Kremlin drone attack may be a false flag operation. High-quality CCTV footage from Kremlin-controlled cameras & swift confirmation of the attack raise suspicions. narrative echoes 1999 bombings used to justify the 2d Chechen war, which were later proven to be carried out by FSB
(however I just saw another report that Kremlin didn't report it until 12 hours later?)
