Yes, that's too much to ask. Varejao is not worth anything to this team. He's old and broken down. He's played more than 31 games in a season once in the past 6 years. You are insane to want him.THis is the most bizarre decision making I've seen, I want both Varejao and Frazier is it too much to ask!?!!
Tony Wroten is a free agent I thinkI wouldn't be surprised if the Blazers pick up a PG/combo guard that has been waived/bought out after the deadline.
Hopefully the Cavs will have completely fallen apart by 2018.
a little less then 2 mil per for 5 yr when the cap is expected to be easily north of 90 mil?Seems like an expensive way to buy a 1st round pick

I want to see what the protection is on that pick.

Please be top 3, please be top 3...I want to see what the protection is on that pick.

If Portland waives Varejão as expected he gets $626,825 from the Cavs (kicker), $3.28m from Blazers this year and $1.96m for next 5 years
My popcorn popper just blew up.
Considering they only have to pay 1/3 of his salary for this year, but the entirety of that salary goes against their salary floor obligations, they actually save 6M this year by trading for him. All in all, he costs the team $3M over the span of 6 years. When considering time value of money, he's basically free.

Eh, only two seasons. I bet Boston fans thought the same when they traded Pierce and KG... Man like 3 years and look at what they're getting from the Nets lolDamn 2018 pick? Thats awhile from now, meh underwhelming trade. I was hoping IF somehow we made the playoffs we'd still be in the draft this year.. Ah well
Plus we can still buy a pick at draft time since we technically didn't buy this one.

1.96 MIL off our cap space in future years (after this one) is the number I heard. We're gonna take $4M a year off our cap space for a likely late 1st Round Pick in 2018? Awful
I believe it is a little less that 2 mil in a cap well north of 90 milWe're gonna take $4M a year off our cap space for a likely late 1st Round Pick in 2018? Awful
