Again, option 3 would've been the easy winner, which is why I left it off!

I agree the water-carrying reporters are not being ridiculous, as they're making money.

I disagree that people aren't somewhat buying a lot of these reports based on how worked up I'm seeing the comments on here and rants on YouTube about things that have a low probability of happening. I'm all for discussing the implications and legitimacy of the report. When conclusions are drawn that the front office is stupid because there is a report they are consindering an Ant and #3 trade for Porzingis trade; that seems a bit much to me. There should be some degree of critial thinking.

Yeah I could see the Blazers drafting Scoot or Miller at 3 and very much exploring trades with them/Ant/Nurk/etc over the next two weeks.

Usually draft picks lose value after the draft - this is a bit different as there is a clear top3 in this draft. Its more similar to the Wiggins draft where he later was traded for Kevin Love. Its much different than trading pick #23 or an average first round draft trade where it loses a lot of value post draft as teams may have wildly different players they would select.

If the Blazers do use pick #3 then Cronin press conference will be must watch TV for Blazer fans. Normally they say yes were keeping player x and he will play in summer league. If he doesn't say something like that there could still be trades in negotiation.

The belief is that there will be so many moves that he will need to stay focused on those and will leave Shams the crums.

I've always said if Stephen A can be a commetator,analyst, whatever the fuck you want to call him, than anyone can. I literally have never agreed with him on anything. Him and Skip Bayless are two of the worst things to ever happen to sports.
 
With all of the odds changing to Scoot at 2, I'm much more comfortable with keeping the pick if it's Miller who fills a need on this roster. I still don't know how keeping the pick will go over with Dame. A lot of waiting and seeing to do.

If all of this Scoot to Charlotte talk is true I do think that a package of Ant and Miller might be more attractive to a lot of teams than a package of Ant and Scoot.

Woj is still saying that he thinks the Hornets take Miller. He is using the same reasoning I had the day before yesterday when the odds shifted towards Scoot at 2. Miller has been reportedly Charlotte's guy for the entire predraft process and Woj doesn't see anything that has happened to significantly change that.

This will be a really interesting evening.

The new owners will supposedly be in the draft room.

So, I mean, new ownership could *significantly* change that.
