What is Hezonja producing?Well in this forum it's hype the end of the bench players and dog those that are actually producing not named Lillard.
Yes. But he has potential to grow into more than that.And....don't forget...
Not only can he make a shot, but nobody on this team is better at fouling.
I got absolutely nothing against the kid, and I'm pulling for him cos he does hustle...but c'mon guys....he's a 9th or 10th guy at best, on any team.

Will he? IDK... Probably not. But IMO he's shown more than Little.

I’d love to hear the 8-9 guys that should be playing instead of wenyen, since evidently he’s a 9th and 10th guy on, and I quote, “any” team.
OK - he should have said any team putting a play-off run above player development. You can make a strong case for saying the kids should be playing more, but the front office (or ownership) are locked into a different priority.
Kinda reflective of how little hope we have this season.
Stotts isn’t putting little in great positions to succeed imo
Ok but Mario still got more minutes than either little or wenyen the last two games. Why?
Comparing him to Joel Embiid, Zach Collins or Jusuf Nurkic shows how much you over value his 165lb. frame.if you’ve got nothing against him then you should probably put things into perspective first. If fouls are your biggest gripe about a rookie, then his outlook is pretty good. How many fouls did Joel Embiid average his rookie year? Zach? Nurkic? I mean the list goes on but those are just three examples.

If this Blazer team, was as assembled, as it was supposed to be, I would honestly believe most in here never would have heard of the kid.
Again...I enjoy his hustle....but knowing his name and clamoring for him to play more is nothing more than a result of a disasterous season.
You mean you don't think putting him in the game than pulling him 40 seconds later because he missed a shot is good ?
Saved for later. Thanks!
Saved in the same file as all the posts about Skal's impending stardom?![]()
Its soooo annoying. He does it all the time too. Like last year I knew he would bench Layman as soon as he ran into some adversity. And then he plays vets way past their expiration date. I bet if Bazemore and Tolliver were here they’d still be in the rotation.
Absolutely. Stotts prefers bad-to-mediocre predictability to the inherent unpredictability of young players. Many coaches seem to have this written right into their genetic code.
It’s true, especially older coaches. Pop is an exception. Probably why he’s the best. Younger coaches tend to be a little more liberal as well. Stevens is a good example. He’s not afraid to play an unproven guy. And it’s not like Stotts doesn’t have job security either, so there’s no excuse.
Simons, Trent, Little, Gabriel...all seem pretty young to me. I’m sure that Gabriel and probably Little wouldn’t be playing if Stotts had more experienced guys available, but of all the things people ding Stotts for, this year not playing young guys isn’t one of the more plausible ones.
Playing guys 5-10 minutes isn’t really playing them don’t be dumb.
Little I'd like to see around 20-25 at this point. Gabriel I have no idea...So how many minutes do you want Gabriel and Little to play per game?
@Scalma .Playing guys 5-10 minutes isn’t really playing them don’t be dumb.
because we are lacking ball handlers with Lillard out.
All of the minutes. So how many minutes do you want Gabriel and Little to play per game?
Last game Mario averaged 2.05 seconds per touches (less than CJ, Ant, GT, Melo, and Ariza) with 0.64 dribbles per touches (less than CJ, Ant, GT, Melo, Ariza, Little and barely more than Gabriel)because we are lacking ball handlers with Lillard out.
But yes, I'm sure he provided some much need ball handling.

Last night, 29 for Trent & 21 for Simons.
I’m being as bright as my poor little brain will allow.
