People may not want to hear this, but I don’t think they care what super basketball fans like. They are trying to catch the casual viewers eyes. Basketball junkies are going to watch no matter how much they complain. We were doing crazy shit in Tokyo…what are fans going to do, NOT watch? Thats not happening anytime soon.May i ask where thier love for this comes from? Have they polled the audience?
I know i too cant stand the odd angles not allowing me to also see off the ball movement, etc. The only view that garners a full take on what is happening is the half court cam that shows both halves.
Im willing to bet dollars to dognuts that if they polled the viewing audience, 75%+ would say get rid of those odd angle shots, during live ball, fast breaks, etc.
Free throws? Okay.
Replays? Fantastic!!
Live action? Get that shit outa here Nd let us watch all the players so we can see the game movement develop.
Not sure what to tell you sir….I watched the Pacers and the Raptors feeds last night. Saw it quite a bit, so there’s that. But you keep thinking that the PORTLAND TRAILBLAZERS are the ONLY team doing it if it helps you. In fact I’ll have the Warriors director on here today for a broadcast Q&A if you want.I watch other team broadcast regularely and I never see any other broadcast cut baseline during a fastbreak like the blazers do. Blazers do it every fucking time and you can't see shit. I don't get it
Now showing replay during live action causing you to miss a play, every team does that shit.
I wouldn't trade Ant for Derozen either, specifically for the reason you mentioned, his age.
Nope! He's more of a driver then spread the court player (like Ant). If you're talking chemistry Dame needs more, not less catch and shoot players around him... plus dude is 33.4 years old. If I'm trading Ant, it's not for someone currently only arguably better who's career is about to end.You dont think Derozan is as good as Ant and likely a much better fit overall?
If it's a healthy all NBA SF then you definitely trade Ant and Shae for them but if Joe feels hesitant to do that, he should tell Dame and the two of them should come to the conclusion that the team needs to youth rebuild around Ant and Shae. That would mean trading Dame, JG, Hart, Justise, GP2 and Nurk for the most you can get. This team is in between a rock and a hard place. Dame is the face of this franchise. Unless he requests a trade he will remain here.
You don’t trade Ant/Shaedon unless you get an All-NBA player like KD, PG, etc to help Dame. Ant/Shaedon are the future. We don’t want a repeat of Jermaine O’Neal. This team isn’t even as close to winning a title as the early 2000’s team.
I really don’t know what course the team should take.
What pick? None were mentioned. Trade Ant, Shae to Chicago for who? I'm confused, what great talent do the Bulls have?I want to try and build and champion around Dame so I would guarantee Chicago the pick and trade any (Ant, Shae and any pick after 2024 included) any of our other young players to make this team a contender.
Holy fucking shit! Keep the fuck up! We owe Chicago a first round pick, so I'm saying in a win now deal we would guarantee that 2023 pick we owe the Bulls to open up our first round picks in 2025, '27 and '29 to be traded for the best player(s) possible to win now. I honestly don't know why this has to be explained and can't be shorthand for people that actually follow our team. What pick? None were mentioned. Trade Ant, Shae to Chicago for who? This straddling the line between competing now and securing our future thing is not really going to work. We can keep a piece or two for the future on a roster that wants to compete now but if we're serious about trying for a championship any talent we think has potential but isn't tapping into it now will be traded to teams building for the future.
Speaking of Scotty Brooks have you noticed he's getting up and standing on the sideline with Chauncey, bending coaches ear. And he will stand there a while. This team needs to replace Scott Brooks with Terry Stotts...make Terry the offensive coordinator.
Certainly hasn't helped our endgame or offensive in my view....I still can't believe we burned 3 timeouts with a couple minutes left in that game and got a 5 second inbounds turnover that probably sunk the game....we went 9 minutes without a bucket with our best shooters on the floor...we should have been rested...I was really disappointed in how the coach handled the end of that game and yeah....we were shorthanded. We let Ant brick away like Russell Westbrook when we should have had Dame at the free throw line at the end of that game. Brooks isn't an offensive geniusSpeaking of Scotty Brooks have you noticed he's getting up and standing on the sideline with Chauncey, bending coaches ear. And he will stand there a while.
