If I'm not mistaken he was GM before the salary cap days of now....he had an open checkbook which isn't allowed under the CBA in today's game....he also had no sense of chemistry...just liked to collect big names ..hard pass from me on Trader Bob but he does remind me of jlprk somehowSomebody that’s not afraid to swing for the fences and take a big risk.

I'm gonna go TOP DOWN - we new ownership most, who is not happy with treadmill mediocrity. That's when REAL changes will occur IMOHe posted when Lanny was passing away and then not again since....jlprk always makes me laugh.
Should the Blazers be interested in
Bojan Bogdanović?
So like Julius Randle then? This team badly needs a big power forward. If we were able to move Grant to the three, we could dominate people with size. We have been undersized at the 4 since Aldridge left. Guys go big on us and we're done.
Who do like on this list and what would you give up to acquire?

I agree! Pascal would be the perfect robin next to Dame. He’d be my #1 choice. Kuzma would be a good fit. I also like Hayward I just wish he could stay healthy. Is LaVine better than Simons? Would DeRozan be to ball dominant? For me Pascal and I would include anyone except Dame.
LaVine is better than Simons, at this point anyway.I agree! Pascal would be the perfect robin next to Dame. He’d be my #1 choice. Kuzma would be a good fit. I also like Hayward I just wish he could stay healthy. Is LaVine better than Simons? Would DeRozan be to ball dominant?

Night after night the Blazers’ starters log an average of 3-5 minutes more per player than the opposing team’s starters. Virtually no bench production and running starters into the ground is a recipe for exactly what we’re seeing happen. Changing starters without building a bench that can contribute will accomplish nothing.

What adjustments did Mosely make? I do get your point but the Blazers continued to cut into the lead and actually tied the game. Portland outscored them 33-27 in the 4th quarter?Tonight, down by 9 points, the unit with 3 starters (Hart, Simons, Nurk) and Walker and Sharpe was playing well at the start of the 4th quarter whittling down the lead.
That unit got the lead down to 5 points. The Magic called a time out.
Then, for no reason I could see, Chauncey substituted Lillard and Grant back into the game. Why?
That Blazer unit with 2 bench players was playing well. You might not see it in the box score.
There are times when the bench is contributing but Chauncey puts starters back in anyway.
Walker and Sharpe weren't playing perfectly, but in the end you have to look at the scoreboard.
With 8:50 left in the game, that was way to early to pull the plug and go with experienced crunch time players. It wasn't crunch time.
I was told that Portland is paradise.Magic in a bottle.
Portland is extremely limited in the kind of moves they can make. It’s a small-market team in a mostly white town that gets a lot of rain. NBA stars don’t want to come here, even though we have a great point guard. The big names in free agency always pick a more glamorous destination, and in this new era of player movement Portland can’t compete. They can tinker around the edges with small moves (which they’ve been doing for years), but it’s very hard to move the needle.
If you had got choose between the two who would you choose? So you give up Grant for Pascal? Why?
