The questions in the survey weren't worded well. I am for abortion, but not for govt. paid for abortions or mandates upon insurance companies to cover them. But Perry isn't for govt. paid for abortions so we "agree" though he says we should pay for abstinence training which I don't agree with.

That's one example of how it was a poor reading of who I agree with.

That's why I said it was worthless.

Well, it's clearly not worthless.

Yes it is.

Perry is rabidly pro life. I am not. We do not agree, but the survey site says we do. It suggests him as my second "best" candidate, yet I wouldn't vote for him.

It gave me Paul as first choice because we agree on some things, but he's too statist for my liking. It rated the guy I like the most of the group really low, though I've heard him speak over decades and know I agree with him more than Paul or Perry.

Also, a lot of the positions are blank, as in Perry has no position on the question, yet it treats it as we agree.

Worthless.

What isn't worthless is to just ask who people want to vote for, or not.

Ya know?

According to that site I agree with Sanders and Clinton on about 80% of the issues, and Trump and Bush on about 60%.

i think we need to throw out the labels, and the parties, and just concentrate on doing what is good for society.

I agree, but watching these people try to do that is like watching 4 year olds fighting over a candybar. Completely illogical and throwing temper tantrums

Is that Kasich? Because, I really don't see how he's compatible with your political point of view. I mean, he came in 4th on my list. That ought to tell you something.

The guy wrote Clinton's balanced budget. Enough said.

Curious, dviss, why would you not vote for Clinton, emphatically, even though you apparently agree with her more than anyone but Sanders?

Probably because Clinton is a fucking psycho. She may align with his ideas, but she doesn't execute like a responsible person.

The side of the fence the dog peed on

The reason why I would never vote for Clinton is because she is a bigger corporatist than Obama. She is simply not trustworthy. She is not for single payer health care. She was on the board of Walmart when Walmart was having some of its worst business practices. She is funded by the banks. She approved the Keystone XL pipeline while in the State Department. She says she's for the equal work equal pay however her female employees make less than their male counterparts. She is fake and full of shit. I don't trust a word she says. Bernie Sanders is the only candidate in the entire race that is talking about jailing these bankers and breaking up these banks. He is the only one that is committed to repealing the gramm-leach-bliley act and reinstating Glass Steagall. I'm all for that shit!

If Clinton wins the primary she will win Oregon easily. I will be voting Green Party.

There are two names that just need the word cuz in front of them.

Why wouldn't you vote for him/her?

Cuz Bush or cuz Clinton. Duh

I just looked up the odds of winning the Powerball jackpot. The odds are going up to 1 in 292 million give or take. The odds of being President are better if your name is Bush. The Clinton family already had their turn as well.

These jackholes are like kids that got in the tree house first and pulled up the rope ladder. They'll kick anyone who tries to climb the actual tree to get in.

dviss, you know, I agree with most of what you said about Secretary Clinton.

But, but, but, but, but....

44 male Presidents.
Isn't it about time?

And whatever her faults, Clinton has always fought for rights of women.
The thought of Walker, Rubio, Bush, appointing 4 Scalias to the Supreme Court is frankly a lot scarier than Clinton's flaws.
Jindal cited his state's "Heritage Law" to keep monuments to Lee, Davis, Beauregaard, and the re-establishment of white supremacy. Louisiana has no "Heritage Law".

However, we have time, we'll say what happens.

If you keep voting for the lesser of two evils that is all you will ever get.

What I just typed right there is bullshizzle, at least for us West Coasters, because the Electoral College votes are already in the bag for the Democrats regardless of any of our "protest votes." We're like totes free to be rabble rousers without any repercussions at all. Let's go eat weird donuts on the way to the Bernie rally!!
