Our discussion regarding pissing rocks actually improved this thread, because it actually was based on personal experiences instead of 3rd hand hearsay.

He had the litho-thingy surgery for the 3rd. That was about 4 years ago and he's still complaining about that procedure and the recovery...says he'll shoot himself if he gets another stone.

Had three of the surgery's last 6 years and it is miserable. Im now taking Potassium Citrate to help prevent the stones. Certain foods mess with the Urine ph and can be the start of stone building. This medicine is supposed to help neutralize that process by increasing the ph. Mine have been in the 13-14 mm. The stents are miserable.

One day after WW published a story outlining allegations of assaults on protesters by a Portland police officer wearing helmet number 67, the city's Independent Police Review said it had opened investigations into his actions.

Among the things city officials are trying to determine? Who the officer is.

"The Independent Police Review (IPR) is aware of video footage circulating on social media about several incidents from recent protests involving a Portland Police Bureau member identified as 'Officer 67,'" the office said in a statement. "We have opened investigations into these incidents and are working to identify the member involved in each incident."

In this week's edition of WW, three people who attended Portland protests—two journalists and an activist—gave detailed accounts of being shoved to the pavement by an officer with 67 on his helmet. An officer sporting that number is already being investigated by IPR for assaulting Black homeowner Elijah Warren, who had complained of tear gas leaking into his house during a Sept. 5 protest.
 
Portland just lost out on the Womens final 4 and there is speculation the visual's and all the bull shit going on here was a factor. Losing Millions!
 
Portland was selected to host a regional in 2024 though. If they were worried about "the visuals", why would they select it for anything. Sounds like some baseless speculation as an excuse to shit on protestors.

Interesting that a certain poster hasn’t commented on the fact that Portland’s “abject failure” of a mayor totally rolled over his opponent and won reelection. Good thing we don’t let the Southern rednecks choose Oregon politicians. I mean, no need for evolution to take ten steps back. The southern states already have that covered.......
