You know, when I see attacks on people like this, I’m horrified that people do this to others. But then I think to myself, If you don’t want to get beat up by a proud boy/antifa/thugs……don’t go where they are. No different than a war photographer for LIFE magazine (if that’s still a thing) going onto the battle field to get amazing pictures. There are obvious threats with these tasks and nobody should be shocked when stuff like this happens. Doesn’t make it right, it just seems like the risks are pretty obvious.
On a side note, I didn’t even watch the video…..tired of seeing hate!

Yeah but if people didn’t go then they would just cruise the streets and beat up POC and people who look like lgbtq

I talked with my mom today. She told me how sad it is for her to go downtown and see all the homeless. She, like me, has never seen Portland this bad before.

In 1978 I used to live in a house right where this homeless camp is on 58th and Powell. Right across the street from the gas station there.

It is hard to believe this is what Portland, as well as America, is becoming.

Portland homeless villages: Your questions answered.



I know it is something, but, this is a terrible idea.

Help to keep people in their homes in the first place, and the "homeless" problem will cost us all much less. Actually paying people living wages and regulating rent so that Americans can't be gauged by the rich, and we should solve most of the problem. Sure, there is obviously more to it than this. But just a few simple things could actually prevent the "problem" from ever happening in the first place.

Our government, federal and local, knows about the homeless problem. They obviously don't care to throw money at the solution, rather they just make things worse.
