Yes, and if someone made exactly the same argument about the right not showing up, no problems, you'd be screaming fascism. That's really all there is to it.

I think the neo Nazis had every right to show up and protest. As did the left. Implying that one side should stay home to avoid "problems" is pretty clear fascism. You'd understand that if someone said the right should have stayed home to avoid any violence.

I said there are _some_ on the left who went there explicitly to effect violence.

I stand by what I wrote.

If the left didn't show up, there'd have been no violence. The woman would be alive.

I suggested that because they did, there was violence and an element of the left was there specifically to cause it. They have to accept some of the blame for the violence.

hmmm didn't have much to say when minstrel was implying I was stupid or just not smart because I didn't get what he was saying though I did because in reality he didn't wanna admit how dumb it was he thought Denny had a fascist idea. Hmmmm

The people whining about Trump (no matter what he does) 7 months in, joining the mob rule (mob rule is not rule at all), and showing up at peaceful rallies with the intent of causing violence are the losers.

You don't show up as armed as their leader did, and not hope for a confrontation.

well in fairness, many showed up in cars...way more dangerous....as well as concealed weapons which are allowed by law...a bat is a feeble defense against either....facing a Nazi mob I'd probably carry a big stick myself

it's never peaceful on both sides. The extreme of the extreme always show up for both and then clash and get fucking crazy, that's why no normal humans go to these. People go to this event looking to get into an altercation, nothing peaceful about it as much as their signs tell you

No. There is no such thing as 'way more dangerous'. A weapon is a weapon.
If you show up to counter protest you do not get to claim you are peaceful if you show up with a weapon.
If you show up to protest you do not get to claim you are peaceful if you show up with a weapon. concealed or not.
