I've noticed every time the Senate Democrats need a spokesperson it's been Kamala Harris, not Chuck Schumer, the minority leader. It's beginning to look like she is the pick and is being given max air time. I had her for attorney general, but suppose Adam Schiff could do the job (and give Trump apoplexy).

Speaking of apoplexy, Elizabeth Warren as Secretary of the Treasury would sure send chills down some capitalist spines.

Those are good choices but I still see Kamala as Attorney General and Stacey Abrams as VP.

Because I think Rice is one of the few people under consideration that would push conservative buttons. I mean, that's fine if she's far and away the best candidate--but I think the options I mentioned are equally good in their own way, and less likely to excite conservatives to vote against. Elections are all about driving turnout, which comes down to enthusiasm for and against. In 2016, Hillary Clinton drove enthusiasm among conservatives to vote against.
