I don't see anyone saying they are against police but instead campaigning for police reform and with that alone will put Biden above trump who thinks the police should slam heads against door pillars and encourages police violence. That will definitely effect the black vote as well as many others.

If the government actually paid teachers and cops commensurately with respect to the responsibility and value of their jobs, they would be much more likely to attract higher quality candidates.

And in proportion, as the quality of the people who are hired to those positions increases, the residual effects to our culture/society would also increase exponentially, and it probably wouldn't take that long to see the results.

I mentioned change and addressing corruption and there are those who are petitioning defunding police. There are those extreme left wingers (yes there are) that want a fight with police anytime, anyplace. If the rest of this campaign is about cops and believe it, Joe is going to have pressure to make it so, and painting a perception that they are all bad apples, that will hurt Joe. He needs to stay on point with regard to his plans to unite and prosper.

No looting, no windows broken, no fires set. Why not? Because the bulk of those espousing those ideals are not in favor of violence.

I agree. Once again to me it doesn’t matter what ones beliefs are if they create destruction and harm innocent people they need to be called out.
I’m for calling out white supremacy, corrupt cops and politicians and anarchist that want to destroy and hurt our capitalists democratic country.
