Winner winner chicken dinner.....Do you think she would do it?

She would be the best possible pick other than say Oprah.

Michelle has said she dosen't want to be VP because being in the White House was tough on her family. But, the current social upheaval and the BLM move movement might change her mind...maybe...probably not.

Biden already said if she wanted to run he would pick her immediately.

It will probably be Harris, though I think she would be better as attorney general.

Susan Rice also is the type of person who could galvanize conservatives to vote against--from what I can tell, conservatives hate her with a passion. I think Abrams or Harris would be great picks. Not sure Abrams is interested, though.
after the last fiasco election in my view those conservatives can all just go fuck themselves....I could care less what they think...they'll vote Trump if they hate her anyway

Abrams is interested. Not sure Joe is really vetting her though. I think she said or alluded not long ago in a tv interview that the Biden team hadn't reached out to her.

i think her lack of experience in prior governance at the federal level will preclude her from VP. her voters rights efforts and her taking it to the national stage may well groom her for campaigns and election/appointment in the near future IMHO.

Oprah has no experience in government.

Stacy Abrams hasn't won a big race.

If you're going to put Biden in the White House you better have someone who can step in if the worst happens.

why would rice be such a lightening rod? Bengahzi?

Trump had no experience

Oprah is the most powerful black woman in America and she is uber intelligent. She would be able to step in. You get a tax break, you get a tax break, everyone gets a tax break!

Abrams not sure if she has the experience, but again neither did Trump

I would have liked Klobuchar but that is not happening now.

Warren would be good too

But, it will be Harris

Yes, and she's seen as a Clinton loyalist and an Obama loyalist, both of whom turn off a certain a segment of the population. Biden obviously is tied to Obama, and his favorables are actually not too good--but he's at least about even in approval/disapproval. Hillary Clinton was way underwater. I'm not sure if Rice would reduce the ticket's favorables, but she seems like the more volatile choice while not necessarily being better than either Abrams or Harris.

She's so much more competent than I ever thought...I was impressed by her when I actually heard her interviewed..she's as qualified as anybody to step up...Harris will be the pick though

Biden will pick Hillary to be his VP. She's been on a publicity tour in Europe. Trying to repair her image to the world. If that goes well she will do the same in the US.

I honestly think Rice would make a good secretary of state, Harris a good Attorney General and Abrams a good VP..Joe should stack his cabinet with strong women in important positions.

It seems to me that Stacy Abrams really doesn't have enough experience, especially given Joe's age.

He is not picking Hillary

Agreed, neither Georgia's governor nor Atlanta's mayor are experienced enough...gotta believe it will either be Kamala Harris or Val Demings...Harris seems the most likely pick but Demings could help Biden flip Florida, which could be huge.

Dems have thought up more ways to lose a race than republicans have thought how to cheat to win one.

True. This isn't Biden's race to win, it's Trump's to lose. Biden isn't exciting anyone at all. The one thing that he has over Hillary is that he isn't as hated as she is.

Biden needs to keep his foot out of his mouth and let Trump end Trump's race for re-election.

Edit: And, that is not a show of support for Biden. He is still a piss poor corporate owned candidate.

Pretty sure she's interested. She explicitly said she'd accept if asked.

barfo

Ah okay, I didn't realize that.
My understanding is that Abrams is openly campaigning for the job. Which is a tad bit unseemly and has supposedly rankled some of the power players involved in the pick. But who really knows,,,,,,,,

Klobuchar took herself out of the race today to make room for a black candidate. Truth was she was already out. I guess she knew and was just trying to make it look as if she bowed out.

The thing that Hillary had going for her was that a ton of women and feminists wanted to see the first female president. That was the "exciting part" of her, even though she was a bad candidate. Rock them pussy hats and pant suits.

Biden is not exciting at all. His main qualities is:

1. He's not Trump
2. He may choose a black woman as his VP

Not sure if that will be enough to get regular people to go out and vote. Maybe it will, people DO hate trump and have probably been miserable as fuck the last 4 years because Trump was President and don't want to live that again.

Won't those same women be excited to see a female vice president who will become president

whom are these regular people demographic you refer too? old haoli men? cause the vp regardless of color will be a woman.

She's not the top of of ticket, though. Kind of a cheap way for the first female president to not be elected into her position. That was the whole allure of Hillary and really the only thing she had going for her.
