Im pretty sure that show created that term....im not sure it has anything to do with red hair though, they were just messing with him....on a side note, that might be the funniest show on TV, if you can get a hold of the 1st season, I recommend it....

Tim=Joe Flacco....young but talented, somewhat unheralded, came out of nowhere to make an impact, may occasionally struggle because of youth, face of the franchise going forward
