While I love this quote from Dame, the bottom line is we're still a piece away. It also reminds me of The Glide (my favorite athlete of all-time, mind you) and how we reportedly nixed or was against a trade to bring in Barkley because we had such great chemistry and he didn't think Chuck would fit in. Well, we know how everything unfolded: We never won a ring over that early 90's run and Barkley was the MVP his first year in Phoenix. Now I can't prove this, but something tells me that we would have found a way to win at least one ring with a Big 3 of Drexler, Porter, and Barkley.

I agree. I think Neil understands the implications and will only make a move if he thinks the fit is right.

But how much of those stats are due to him playing on a bad team?

Wilson had his best year when he was coming off the bench for Denver in 12-13, and that team won 57 games. He shot 41% from 3 and 48% from 2, and he was their most productive player offensively per minute.

No what I am assuming is they are asking him to shoot on purpose as the main scoring threat of the bench which we would ask of him as well here. Essentially the same role. The problem is not his shooting. It is his making.

I hope crabbe isn't traded. I love his game and see potential in him. More potential on our team than Cj. Teams are always in need of 3 and D wings.

That's probably why DEN wants Crabbe and not CJ.

It could be that Denver is just a bad fit for him but he's not a guy that moves the needle in my view. Maybe the scouts know something we don't. His body language on the court screams, loser to me but that could be his situation

I agree. I think if something is gonna go down, it'll happen tomorrow. Crabbe not being at the game last night is fishy to me. Oden went to games on crutches so I don't know why Crabbe couldn't make it. Plus he was evidently spotted at some high school game the night before.

Lots of times guys come to home games and don't travel, but sometimes they just get treatment in the back during. I think I remember Brandon said he did that -- getting rehab work in while watching the game in the bowels of the RG.

No. We basically took one tweet by Zach Lowe and turned it into "Chandler to Portland confirmed". I'm just as guilty as everyone else in this regard. If it's going to happen I think it will be Monday/Tuesday otherwise it doesn't go down.

I don't think not hearing anything doesn't mean talks are dead. This FO has reasons to keep any potential moves behind closed doors. You don't want it to become a distraction for the players.
