were they just different colors or different brands? trying to monetize the big tariff brand right from the jump maybe. i don't really think it is a good look myself. kind of thing would get a fella talked about being placed in a certain school program for the "gifted" when i was young.

On a bigger picture note. Chinese immigrants could also increase which would be incredibly helpful to this city at this point.
 
I really wish Bill Walton would have lived long enough to call a couple of Yang's games! The game quotes would be epic and the random stream of consciousness facts about Chinese Cuisine, Calligraphy and Ming Dynasty Pottery would have been next level! I really think Bill would have loved this kid!
 
I’ll go out on a limb Hansen will be our starting center in 2 years. BbIQ goes a long ways in basketball. His offensive skill set is already miles ahead of Clingan and I don’t see Clingan getting much better over the next couple of years. Obviously defensively he’s ahead of Hansen but I think with his BBIQ he can make up the difference within 2 years. Is it a stretch maybe but watchin Clingan miss the rim from 1-2’ tells me it wasn’t him being a rookie last year some bigs just don’t have touch around the basket

Clingan as the backup isn't the worst thing in the world. Honestly, I don't think he'll (Clingan) be an offensive threat outside of a roll players type offense. Nothing wrong with that, just his game doesn't scream long term starter. It does say long term *player* though.

this part I disagree with. The shot I believe you are referring to he was under the basket. Yes it was bad, but that doesn't mean he has no touch around the basket. I have seen him make some shots that leave to believe he can improve. He has yet to play his 2nd season in the NBA. But Yeah
I think Yang will eventually start in a couple years

maybe, big maybe he’ll become a better shooter but typically you either have it or you’d don’t. He might improve slightly but he’s never going to be much of an offensive threat and currently has terrible touch around basket. I saw at least two instances where he was under basket and completely missed rim. No reason he shouldn’t be dunking everything within 2’ of rim.

when you watch Hansen he’s finished multiple shots under pressure by basket he’s silky smooth for a big guy. His ball handling, shooting touch, 3 pt shot, passing skills and creativeness inside the key are going to continue to get better. I truly believe we hit the lottery on this pick. Maybe not all star (might become one someday) but he’s definitely a starter at some point.

I would really like a non-stop flight from PDX to anywhere in Asia at this point. China isn't my first choice, but better than nothing.
 
What are you talking about? That girl was absolutely stunning and looks like a really nice girl.
