Hmmmmm
Lebron is looking old. Dragging broke ass teams to the playoffs really has taken it's toll.

Hmmmmm
He's more healthy than it looks. Played 75 games last two seasons. He just gets hurt a lot during games and seems kinda brittle. Prolly cuz he's such a freak of nature. But I agree with the general sentiment of being aware of his health. We should all be as Blazer fans.AD has flags....he's not the healthiest superstar around. There IS a risk in gutting your team to pair him with Dame....call me paranoid but if you trade a core player for a core player health is a huge concern..AD is very, very injury prone
This is more of a reality for us, if true.A couple of sites I've never heard of are reporting that Blake Griffin has also privately asked to be traded.
Are you serious??? I have never heard that (talking about the medical staff), that's incredible... Just wow... Crazy. He's more healthy than it looks. Played 75 games last two seasons. Also I remember reading somewhere that the Pelicans don't really have a dedicated bball medical staff and they use the Saints'??? Seemed absolutely ridiculous to me in the current NBA.
Well we would be perfect for him then, our medical staff has a long and storied history of successHe's more healthy than it looks. Played 75 games last two seasons. That franchise lost it's arena to Katrina..couldn't even play in New Orleans for a stretch...they really should move that team to Seattle or Vancouver BC...somewhere in the actual west...Grizzlies tooHe's more healthy than it looks. The recent Medical staff has done really, really well! I mean besides Moe I guess... The Blazers have done a good job of being healthy the last couple years though.Well we would be perfect for him then, our medical staff has a long and storied history of success![]()
I don’t feel like going through 10 pages of posts, but I’m assuming it’s been discussed that Lillard has talked openly about wanting to play with Davis before, correct?
If the Pels and Pistons were to discuss a Blake for AD deal, who declines? Pistons would get the better player, but Pels would get a legit star locked in for 3 more years.A couple of sites I've never heard of are reporting that Blake Griffin has also privately asked to be traded.
What was most interesting about that is that Dame actually tagged AD on it.Correct. A tweet has been shared twice
Well, I know it's not up to Blake but if he is requesting a trade from the Pistons I doubt he'd be happy playing for the Pelicans. He'd probably pull a Kawhi in that situation. If the Pels and Pistons were to discuss a Blake for AD deal, who declines? He talked about lobbying for players to join him in Portland...before last season he said he wouldn't do that...last season he started to lobby for Melo and AD on social media a bit...Dame is selling his brand here, not elsewhereI don’t feel like going through 10 pages of posts, but I’m assuming it’s been discussed that Lillard has talked openly about wanting to play with Davis before, correct?

Probably depends on why he wants to be traded. Do you have any further detail on that? I mean, if it has to do with teammates (Reggie Jackson...) not taking the game seriously, the situation in New Orleans might be significantly different than in Detroit.Well, I know it's not up to Blake but if he is requesting a trade from the Pistons I doubt he'd be happy playing for the Pelicans. I know Olshey has said CJ is untouchable in the past but AD is the type of player that could save his job and turn him into a hero in Portland. I don't believe for a second that he wouldn't make everyone but Dame available.
They rank consistently poorly in the Instreetclothes tracker. Are you serious??? I have never heard that (talking about the medical staff), that's incredible... Just wow... Crazy.
He's no longer with the team it seems:Chris Stackpole to the rescue!!
Despite the success, a new face will be leading the medical team. Jesse Elis was named the Director of Player Health and Performance in the offseason, replacing Chris Stackpole. Stackpole’s hiring was seen as innovative at the time and was cited as a primary reason for Portland’s turnaround. However, Elis carries an equally impressive resume having previously spent time as the Director of Physical Therapy at EXOS in Phoenix, Arizona.
Yes, pretty much every contract would be cleared except for Dame/Nurk/Layman and rookie deals.Let’s say Portland made the AD/CJ trade and AD bounced in free agency. Correct me if I’m wrong but wouldn’t that mean Portland would have space for two max free agents?
Thank you for this info and the links. That's some of the interesting stuff...They rank consistently poorly in the Instreetclothes tracker.

Some damning quotes:
"A torn ACL in basketball is a torn ACL in football. An AC contusion is an AC contusion. Injuries are injuries," Brooks says. "They have to be managed different because of the schedule or because of the different type of athlete or where we are in the schedule. It's different. But at the end of the day, I've never seen anything over here [with the Pelicans] that I've never seen before. I've never had an injury before that I said, 'I've never dealt with this before. What do I do?'"
"I'm a bit old-school," he says. "We have cryotherapy. But to me, hands are the best. You have to have a good set of hands. And I think the three of us, with the experience that I have and the experience Jared and Todd both have, I think it starts with that. Manual therapy -- putting your hands on a guy. That's how you get them to trust you. You can use Fusionetics, cold tubs, cryo, whatever. That's an extension of what we do.
"We're getting there," Sumerlin says. "We're definitely moving in the right direction. We're just in the process of getting to where the Spurs are. I think once we start winning some playoff games, start getting a bigger budget, we can start going that route."
