Point taken. But I still think we can acquire a third guy at or near Nurk's caliber in a year after we get Dame/AD.

This whole talk about trading Nurk is horseshit. Our interests are not to appease New Orleans or Anthony Davis. Our interests are to win games. Period.

If it doesn't work with Davis, Nurk still gives us one of two who can win us games. Why the hell would we give that up? It's madness. It's what I've been saying this whole time.

If they trade Nurk for Gasol I'm gonna invent something ingenious just so I can buy the team and fire everyone.

If they trade him to get Davis I won't go quite as crazy but I don't want them to do that.

Oh if they trade Nurk for Gasol, I'm already drawing up plans for a riot. Torches and pitchforks at the very least, and a rail to run Neil out of town on.

I can't even fathom doing that trade when GSW is still a thing.

It would be the end of Neil's career as a GM though. Nobody would believe he did it.
 
Marc Stein (NY Times) reporting that if AD is not traded by the deadline, the Pels are considering sending him home until he is traded....however long that takes.

People like to throw around the word "tanking." This actually earns the term.
