Dame/ Seth
Hood/ ET
Moe/ Layman
Davis/ Aminu
Nurk/ Leonard

with Simons + Trent + (Caleb) at the end of the bench.

We'd open up yet another roster spot.

Opening up that roster spot with the trade for Hood made some difference.
 


This is just what Blazers fans need to get their hopes up before they all come crashing down on February 7. But....

looks great on paper. I just question how much Nurkic and Davis would step on each other offensively. There would definitely be adjustments needed. But they'd be awesome defensively

and if it was a poor mesh between AD and Nurk, then Nurkic is on a contract that would make him fairly coveted as a trade assets

I think our only chance is if we include Aminu and get back Solomon Hill. Something like:
CJ, Aminu, Zach, 2019 1st, 2021 1st for AD and Hill

I would include either Simons or Trent too if they insisted. I don't think I'm being super biased when I say I think that is a pretty fair trade based on what other stars have recently been traded for.

Fine. Do all that. Just gimme Dame-AD-Nurk with serviceable shooters and wing defenders.
 
I still think the Blazers should roll the dice and go get him even if he might leave. Who knows if they could put together a package NO would want but that would add some excitement for the next two playoffs.
 
If Davis thought New Orleans was a shithole of a city. He would hate it in Portland. New Orleans is much more fun, especially for a 25 year old. But if we make a deep run and make the finals, you never know. Lillard/Davis/Nurkic trio would be up there with the best.

I would think having a roster of Dame/Nurk/AD would be very attractive to a new owner and help the future sale.
