...as far as Judge "being too nice" I don't think that has anything to do with it.

... if he'd start either taking those outside pitches he flails at or starts hitting them to RF, the ump would be less likely to call those borderline pitches as strikes.

Tough loss, the Yankees seemed to be hitting them where they were all night. That 2 run hiccup aside Tanaka fared pretty well. Hicks played a damn good centerfield. Don't know why Bird tried to go home on that pitch but he did make up for it. DH Players, Judge, and Sanchez have to start getting on base.
