Got in late but got to see a couple of Tanaskas innings. When he was finished my TV/internet went down. Retrieved the game on a smart phone by the 9th and saw Dellin out in the danger zone. ...yup, that would have probably changed everything and likely have caused the Sox to spit the bit Saturday and/or Sunday... of course, we need to win out anyway to even have a chance....but it would be such a big advantage to be able to rest our pitching staff as well as our players and line our rotation up going into a multi-game playoff series.

There are many games the Yankees can look back on and say why couldn't we have taken Pittsburgh or Milwaukee 2-1 instead of 1-2. I've always said that one game you lost early in April or May could come back to haunt you in September or October. Al games add up over a season. Interesting situation though lets see what happens.
