Tanaka vs. Darvish

Lineups to follow...

...I don't exactly have a warm and fuzzy feeling about this pitching matchup.

Yankees record against West Teams now stands at 5-12, now come the Rangers, another West opponent. Going back 3 seasons the Yankees are 9-12 against Texas. Tanaka on the bump, even Frank Sinatra would not sing "High Hopes" .

Yeah. Tough to be optimistic with what is being dished out on the mound. Looks to be the liking
of the Rangers. There will be feasting tonight. How's that for optimism?

Gardner -LF
Hicks -CF
Judge -RF
Holliday -DH
Castro -2B
Sanchez -C
Gregorious -SS
Carter -1B
Torreyes -3B

Never have been a gambler, don't know how odds are placed on individual games. Even with their recent track record the Yankees are once again favored. I wonder how much money has been won or lost depending on bet placement over the last three series. The Rangers have some people who can mash, and Tanaka has been giving up more taters than an Idaho Potato Farm. See Headley missing again, wonder what is up with that.

He needs a Time Out.

I would be surprised if the Yankees win tonight. Tanaka just is not the same.......and pitching would be
key to a victory....unless we witness a 15-12 game.

I just heard the Game is being Delayed, have no idea why.

Never would have thought Tanaka would turn his game around against the Texas hitters. I'll just watch
and see what unfolds.

Tanaka is doing well but his offense has not helped him out because Darvish is right up there as well. Yankees need this game.

So Cashman, beyond making the last out of the 8th this game, what maintains the "Organizational Decisions" to keep him?

Hate to tell you this folks but I think the Bullpen has fucked up another game.

Gardner temporarily saves the Yankees Bacon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is not one man in that God Damn Pen that can stand up and do his job.

Shreeve, you're not skilled, just damn lucky, that inning could have been really ugly.

2 on 1 out and Carter the rally killing fuck strikes out again Cashman you watching this shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Torreyes the scrapper with the GWRBI. Game saver bomb by BG. Nice start turnaround for Tanaka. The pen: ah shit.

...gotta believe that the fact that the Yanx are paying this POS $3.5 Mil has something to do with it. But I don't get it, because after all, the Yanx decided to pay off ARod's $27 Mil salary for this year when it became obvious that he no longer deserved a roster spot...Carter is just a bad all around player with absolutely no redeeming qualities, and he sucks at every facet of the game...please, just eat the money and cut him loose.

50K Japanese Yanx Fans attended the game, all wearing 60's circa Polaroid camera's. Tank vs Yu; there will be lines of half blinded Yanx fans, standing in lines for a week, at the Optometrists.....

that's what the Japanese do in mlb stadiums in america, during a Orient Showdown, take pics all game long, using those cubed flash bulbs.... low scoring game, no one could see the ball to hit it, sunposts in the eyes....

Torreyes, the hero with bat and glove. I hope Headley never plays another game period, at any position, esp now Carter is DFA....

I liked Torreyes from day one, hustles, great on defense, has the ability to get a clutch hit when needed. Saw his fielding gems on Quick Pitch this AM. Headley, enjoy your back spasms, keep Torreyes in there.

...great news, "addition by subtraction".
