There's something about the Bronx that makes the Angels melt down!
Extremely weak throw by Trout from mid center field, with his momentum going towards the plate. The Angels catcher looks like he should still be in AAA.

Not to mention Trout has misplayed a couple of balls this evening, and even slipped and fell on his ass earlier in the game.

The dangerous thing about Trout having a bad game, he usually retaliates in the games to follow, but then don't all great players do that much?

With IKF. at SS, he literally makes the last year with GT at SS, look even worse than he was, and GT was as bad defensively at SS as it comes or gets!

What a jump by Trevino to avoid the tag at home. Hysterical!

Though not all-stars, I like both IKF and Trevino simply because they are real ball players...something we've been missing lately.

Neither is GREAT at anything, but they're bad at nothing.

Both Torres and Andujar swinging out of their shoes with 2 strikes...this is something I've been harping on for years...players like these 2 come to NY and decide that they're power hitters...and if they'd both cut down on their swings I believe their batting averages would increase 30 points a year, and their on bases percentage would increase 50 points a year...can you image how much that would help this team?

To be fair though, I'm not crazy about either being permanent fixtures on the Yanx...and wouldn't mind packaging either one or both of them packaged in a way to rid us of Hicks and/or Gallo and bring Juan Soto to the Bronx.

Castro looking like gas can so far.

Edit...he wiggled out of it.

On the flip side I seem to recall a few years ago that the Yanx' kryptonite was whenever they went out to the West Coast and playing in Anaheim and Oakland.

Trevino puts the icing on the cake with a 2-run bomb...9-1, good guys.

Trevino showing a hot bat lately. Higgy needs to wake the hell up.

...and McKay loads the bases...nice job, jackass...8 run lead and your only job is to throw strikes.
