Where I have trouble with this is the use of an obvious extreme. How do you reconcile your opinion when so many young men are playing sport at a high level or even turning pro at 18?

Everybody is different...? I'm not sure what you're trying to ask. It's not like my friend was a freak for having a late growth spurt.

what I was getting at was your thinking that one should not make a choice of sexual orientation until 18.

That's more about the legal system than anything. If they want to decide earlier and can get the approvals, awesome... my opinion on this is pretty flexible and subject to new information because this is al pretty damn new to everyone.

They know what they are. Big difference.

The thing is, nobody is saying "Johnny said he was a girl once when he was four so we're railroading her into being a girl forever!" This is a thing that is expressed by the child consistently and constantly, not just once.
right and I wanted to be a lot of things when I was a child but as I got older I realized I wanted nothing to do with those things. Your link lost me at gender identity and the talk of characteristics of sex. You are either born with an XY or XX chromosome. If you wanna pretend to be something you aren't and that makes you happy, cool. Matter of fact a study recently came out how women and mens brains are very different in nature and this has been around but you know how everybody loves to mess with science and facts because it makes them feel better... http://stanmed.stanford.edu/2017spring/how-mens-and-womens-brains-are-different.html
this whole gender identity thing is outrageous and it's poisonous to spread around. If a male is playing with toys for girls at 4 years old, that doesn't mean the kid wants to be a different gender well because physically he really can't as well right because he was born with an XX chromosome meaning no matter what he does in the end he still biologically a male. I don't understand why people are teaching differently and trying to spread lies and false information. Parents are making these decisions for kids these days and it's sick, disgusting behavior.

I remember some things from when I was 4. Mad Cow and all that.
