not a problem at all.. its kinda nice actually to have people around here to talk to who are as into the Ducks and follow recruiting like I enjoy. And yes it is EXTREMELY exciting to be a Ducks fan right now... so many big name kids who are noticing up here. Loving it!
I like this board better than eDuck, at least in terms of just being about hard news for fans, and being able to share personal experiences as a Duck fan. The S2 format is so user-friendly, I'll try and recruit some posters from another board here. Not eDuck, though.
Keep up the good work! STOMP should probably be a mod as well, and he won't believe I endorse him!

here's an example of another Hawaiian 3* linemanGood pickup? They've got him as three stars.

On Scout they have him as a 4 star. As you can also see, USC and Stanford saw enough of what they liked that they both offered him a scholarship.
WR BJ Kelley is a Duck

RT @TomDienhart: I have learned that Cal offensive coordinator Andy Ludwig will be named to the same post at San Diego State today.
per Ken Goe's Twitter... Ludwig the Cal OC is going to SDSU... wonder if that will affect any Recruits... (Bigelow?)
just about every top athlete I've personally known or interacted with in HS and at UO has had an over-inflated ego. Having everyone around (friends, girls, coaches, etc...) fawning all over how great you are from an early age is probably a leading cause. My personal experiences are why I don't have illusions about various athletes being the great people off the court/field that they're portrayed to be.the dude just likes to talk.. nothing new for a Wideout.
Like we need another RB![]()

one glaring exception was Terrell Brandon. I guarded him in college pickup games a few times and though he'd just destroy, he always remained respectful and quiet towards me and the other players... really nice guy

“It gives you a greater spread and reach in recruiting,” Carroll said. “Where we used to try and talk guys into coming to visit, they were calling and asking to visit us. It changed the landscape for recruiting for us quite drastically.”
“Next year is when you can see Oregon really get a nice boost,” said Greg Biggins, director of recruiting for ESPN Rise. “Typically, the way it works, when you have a big year on the field, it really doesn’t pay off till the following year. They have a chance to have their best class in 10 years in 2012.”
With the departure of Javes Lewis, I believe there are 62 players on scholarship eligible to return for 2011. This includes former walk-ons Hoffman and Beard who were on scholarship for 2010, but not necessarily renewable. It also includes 2010 grayshirt Issac Dixon, now enrolled. Using 62 as a base, they can take 23 this cycle to meet the NCAA limit of 85. However, there will undoubtedly be additional attrition besides Lewis, due to transfers, academic casualties, etc. IMO, they can take anywhere from 23(minimum) to 26-28. Using early entries counted against 2010 and/or grayshirts deferred to 2012 the annual limit of 25 should not be a problem.
At present, there are 22 verbals. It will be interesting to see how many CK chooses to sign. Any above 23 will be an early indication of the amount of attrition/loss of scholarships that the staff expects prior to next fall.
I read recently that Stevens left on his 2 year mission in Oct. 2009 which would make it extremely unlikely he'd play next year.So who's left that we are going after and how many more commits can we get on scholarship.
I really want Delvon Simmons. Besides Lyerla he got the biggest boost from rankings from the Army AA game. We still don't know about Hamani Stevens and I really think he's the best DT target left. Heyward would be nice if we couldn't get Simmons.
yes he does... my guess is he'll turn out to be rightThat kid is the biggest attention whore. I really wouldn't be surprised if he switched his commit. Does he think he'll come in and get minutes right away?
