It's kinda like how you conveniently ignored Lillard's great outing against St. Mary's (arguably the best team on the schedule) when you bring up his opponents.

You're hard to read and you don't debate a good point when its brought upon you, instead you ignore it and re-hash it later. Now I remember why I usually just skim past your posts.

lol, short and sweet for you...Did St Mary's make the NCAA tournament? Yeah, I didn't think so.....

Cal and BYU....they did....

You really don't have much, do you?

Pierce\Ginobli? FAR FAR better shot creators than Lillard...

Drummond--I'm still trying to figure him out. Check out these stats:

Soph in H.S. 20.2 PPG, 16.6 RPG, 7.2 BLK
Senior in H.S. 15 PPG, 11 RPG, 4 BLK* (played at a different school in a more competitive league?)
Freshman in College: 10 PPG, 7.6 RPG, 2.7 BLK

This is a little concerning. It looks like he had great early H.S. numbers, but as the competition got harder, he just faded.

He is just such a physical monster. If he is there at six I think you have to roll the dice on him being amare/dwight/chandler instead of kwame/curry/thabeet.
also against drafting Lillard over anyone from tier 2 of players

I can't. The guys off the top of my head that really elevated their stock after the combine are David Lee, Russell Westbrook and Iman Shumpert. All have been solid picks.

Maybe James Johnson and Joey Graham as well? I don't think GMs were fooled by them though, they went about where they were supposed to and considering the risk/reward they were fine gambles. Alexander Johnson got some hype and maybe rose, but still was picked 45th overall.

my bad, they were 1st round and out....

They were seeded higher than BYU and Cal.

You keep on trumping out the BYU game like it was a horrible performance. He had a double-double and didn't shoot horribly from the field.

Small little details.

40% from the field 25% from 3pt range is not going to get it done...

Yeah, small little details....

Are you taking shooting percentages from 2 games and saying they represent Lillard's shooting talent?

No, I am just calling him out on his bullshit....

Oh I do Zagsfan, in games against better teams he has not performed well.....and it goes back more than just 1 year.

keep um....trying....

Do any of us? This draft is going to be crazy! Draft day is gonna be full of rumors and drama!

The draft is a crap shoot and no one really knows. No one is a sure thing and to speak in absolutes when it comes to player futures is hard because you can't predict the future. Just look at all the guys that are drafted in the lottery and end up being busts and guys from the 2nd round that end up being all-stars.

Yeah you can have your opinion but you're kidding yourself if you think you can 100% predict how successful someone will be.

Is it me or has all the talk of Jeremy Lamb completely stopped since the interviews he gave at the combine in Chicago? Even slipped to 13 in the latest Mock by Ford.

chad ford seems to think we have a love affair with him hasing us taking him at 11.

I wouldn't mind taking him at 11. I would be very content with a starting backcourt of Lillard/Lamb on opening night.

seems like this is a deep draft mostly because someone you pick in the 20s could easily end up being the second best player in the draft.
anyone remember Jerry West saying in the early 2000's that you were a great scout if 50% of your picks turn out not to be busts?

Gut feeling...

Our draft night if we stay at 6/11:

Dion Waiters
Meyers Leonard

And I can't wait to see S2 on draft night! It'll be like fez hammersticks after we took Nolan Smith over Kenneth Faried.

This happens................... I NEVER post on S2 again and rip up my fan card!

And then the trifecta.....

Canales named head coach after the draft

I would be so bummed with that draft, but until Olshey proves he is inept, he will get the benefit of the doubt
