You think Robert Nkemdiche would come here with a surprise commit? Like, if we win the Natty?

we haven't won the Natty thus far, yet Robert has been listing us in his top 3 in more then one recent interview. I won't be surprised if he visits Eugene and if he does then it's a reasonable possibility for a highly rated kid from a thousand plus miles away with options choosing Oregon. There are many recent examples of this on the roster

We were close, I mean last season we started ranked #4. And this season we will be ranked 6/7. The Natty can be in our reach.

Though people are sitll thinking LSU can be #2 are crazy. They lost guys and their offense is kind of a joke. Their D is amazing sure, but we exposed them last season as did Alabama. What can beat a Defense like LSUs or Alabamas anyway? We can run/pass against USC, Choklahoma need I say more? And Michigan and West Virginia are also contenders.

I'd like to see us concentrate on getting offensive linemen for next year.

sounds like West Linn Offensive Lineman Evan Voeller is chomping at the bit for an offer from his rooting interest. He'll be in for Jr. day and may receive one then

on a side note, a recent quote via AJ at rivals from Bay Area LB Michael Hutchings..."I have extreme interest in Oregon."

Getting AA was huge for the Ducks... Not only is he a monster who hasn't gotten into his strength yet, he's well connected and doing work for the Ducks already. 2013 recruiting class could be EPIC!!!

Two thoughts.

1) It's easy to see the flat effort early against a talented USC team. Stanford was the game of the year in the Pac-12, and the Ducks blew off their doors. Next year, USC will not be overlooked.

2) Watching Barner in the video, I'm not at all worried about leadership next year.

I had those same thoughts about the USC performance. I remember seeing the players celebrate on the sidelines like they just won a bowl game. I get the overlooking of USC

Maybe it's because they trashed all over Andrew Luck for the final time.

Also, what was the chant? I couldn't make it out

6'4 275 lb. Florida DT Jaynard Bostwick recently listed Oregon as his #2 after Univ. of Miami & followed by Alabama and LSU

All I understood out of it was:

Barner: I got a question for ya, how the F*** you all feel!?!?

Team: I feel fine!

Barner: How the F*** y'all feel!??

Team: I Feel fine!

Barner: Now what the F***'s the word!"

Team: NOBODYS (I lose it here)

the chant. Pretty sure the guys are yelling back I'm feeling fired up! the first time. Not so sure about the 2nd response... guessing it ends with Nobody's Duckies. Maybe they're saying Nobody beats the Duckies? Absolutely love Lokombo's laughing at the end.

Of note, when I posted this yesterday morning it had just eclipsed 2000 views. 24 hours later it's up over 2,800... I'm only responsible for about 500 of those ;) I'd love to see the student section leading this following the first TD of each game

yeah I hear the Fired up part now :)

JUCO WR Rolando Jefferson has signed a CFL contract. Should end anymore speculation about him and Oregon. His coach said it was apparent school was just something he couldn't overcome from his upbringing.

His playing is sick, but aren't we already good on the defensive frontline?

speculation is that Oregon is looking to bring on 2-4 Defensive Lineman this cycle. They lose Remington & Jordan to graduation this year, but the following year they lose the rest of their Defensive Tackle rotation (Ebert, Keliikipi, Hart, Heimuli). Aliotti likes to run zone blitzes and mix up the looks his D gives so his DTs have to be athletic as well as tall/long... most every DL kid they've signed of late is at least 6'4. Vanderdoes & Bostwick would seem like really good fits here for some of that upcoming PT

Well, that kind of sucks, but I do like that nobody (JUCO/Jefferson/UO) tried to grease the skids to get him into UO.

DeForest Buckner will be a very suitable replacement for Dion in a year plus AA will have a year under him too plus the talks of who wants to be a Duck in 2013 is pretty freaking amazing on defense!!

what do you think of Tony Washington, Sam Kamp & Lake Koa-Ka'ai?

Got any vids on how they played in Oregon?

to get HS video on most any kid all one has to do is put their name into google and then choose the video option... thats how I get everything I link here

Defensive Ends Sam & Lake just redshirted last season, so there isn't any video I'm aware of from their Oregon career thus far, and Tony just cut his teeth in limited time as a Redshirt Freshman behind two Seniors and an All Pac 12 player (Dion Jordan). All 3 bring good size and seem to be solid athletes

Us getting Harlow would be a sweet deal, though I doubt we may get Dillard(I mean, he can go to Ann Arbor instead of Hoke).

according to rivals he hasn't got an offer from Michigan yet. They've already received verbals from 5 Offensive Lineman, so I doubt he's going to get one. Here's a quote from a rivals article earlier this month...

"I could definitely see myself playing at Oregon," Dillard said. "Distance isn't a factor for me at all. It will be when I get that gut feeling when I'm at the school and I know the school is the place for me. The school I pick will have the three A's; athletics, academics and atmosphere."

he goes on to say that he visited Oregon with his family and looks forward to taking an official visit

Eddie Vanderdoes has been offered by a bunch of schools. but I would feel comfortable putting Oregon in the lead with Cal and USC.

How much do you think AA has to do with Eddie's decision? My guess quite a bit! Lucky we got him!
