14 million per year..... I never thought Iggy would get that much. This just shows how weak this free agent class is.

fine with me, let these teams with cap load up big contracts on overall a weak talent pool IMO, this is where it's smart to be patient for the longer term,

4 years , 20 million for Tony Allen. A rare reasonable contract this offseason.

big deals for guys I didn't want or expect are a great thing, IMO.

It shows how much money is out there. This is a players market. Too much money, not enough good players out there.

I mean, Martell Webster got 5.5 a year....sheesh.

I remember when Orlando dismantled their team to clear cap to sign Duncan and Grant Hill. It was a novel idea at the time. Now it seems like every team is constantly trying to clear cap, yet there is never enough decent players to go around so scrubs get overpaid.

Eh. Dude is going to be 35 at the end of his contract.

It's not as egregious as some of the other contracts floating around, but it's not great.

Dalembert will probably get something like 10-11 mil a year for like 2 years now ha ha.

I think it's becoming apparent that we will not be using our cap space this summer. Not unless it's for a trade. At this rate 9 million will buy you one over the hill center, and that's it.

there "might" be a few solid guys available when the stupids are done, smart to wait IMO

Sac ownership changes but their GM stupidity does not (a curse there?), if it might lead to us gettin Lopz cheap I'm down with it. BTW Lopez is decent at best, but he's probably our best value bet given what's available

I think its a great signing but it is overpaying (I thought he would get 4/46) but I think bringing in Iggy and letting Evans go is the first step in trying to change the culture of that team. Iggy is a great locker room guy and if they are going to be offering Cousins a max contract they are going to have to surround that team with great locker room players that are also unselfish. Also Mclemore was reported to have some unsavory characters around him and signing Iggy may be trying to get a good role model for Mclemore that isn't there otherwise.

Grizzlies also resigned Jon Leuer for 3 years/3 million.

Random...

Patience guys. These other teams are blowing loads early. Give it time

I'm assuming were going to do a trade or two involving our capspace and then singing someone like Dalembert for 3/15.

we simply disagree then, yeah he's a good guy buy IMO not worth that

WTF is Sac doing? Instead of a matching a very reasonable 4/44 offer for Evans, they are giving Iggy 4/56? Out of their minds if this happens.

Different ownership/management, same old Kings.
