Bartelstein is agent of some Blazers Players right? Neil better have him on the phone right now

Yes.

I think we could resign him in the Summer without any problem so it won’t really be a rental and he would be a great fit here.

Our picks is going to be early to mid 20s in a not so exciting draft.

So refresh my memory on Mirotic.....we would own his bird rights? Is that how we can resign him? How much can we offer him?

Our starting five tomorrow could be Nurk, Blake Griffin, Mirotic, Hood and Dame hahaha

Uuuuuuuh... How About NO to Blake!

Mirotic would be cheaper which equates to an addition based on what would be sent out (likely)

Blake would be far more dynamic as he has the ability to take over. He also would cost more just to make it work financially. So the net gain is likely leas

Net gain isnt always the best though as top level talent wins more games than balanced talent.

We would not have his Bird rights, only his non-Bird rights. 120% of 12.5 million. It's hard to see him getting an offer over $15M, but it's possible.

They didn't even mention the Blazers in that segment. Maybe it another trade deadline for Olshey one trade and I am done.

Was Hood connected to Portland at all before the trade? Doesn’t mean much. And Woj is tight with Olshey, he’s not going to leak anything.

I would much rather us get Mirotic than Utah. Wtf do we need another mid 20s pick for? We already have two kids from last draft that don’t play and 2 kids from the previous draft(one of which should never play).

FUCK THE PICK.

Ps you could argue that we haven’t made a decent pick outside the lottery in a very long time anyway.

Who runs that stupid account?

Anderson has been traded for Brandon Knight and Tyler Johnson, two equally awful contracts. It’d be like trading Evan Turner for Mozgov and then patting ourselves on the back.

And I’m pretty sure no one said Anderson was “untradeable.” Just that the Knicks would have no interest in him for Melo.

exactly

I don't recall anyone saying guys like Anderson or Turner or Mozgov were untradeable. Just that what you'd trade them for would be about as bad as what you were trading.

Portland was able to trade Allen Crabbe to the one team stupid enough to make that offer. In return what they got was the obligation of paying Crabbe nearly 40M dollars for 1 year of below average production and a 7-year/2.85M a year stain on their salary cap
