And were 8th in offense.

Swapping Moe and Chief for Mirotic would hurt our defense more than itd help our offense.

Oh so teams don’t treat Aminu and Moe like a ball boy that ran on the court?

Man if we dump aminu for nothing...
Sacramento was the only team that had cap space and they used it tonight.

There are 3 teams with large enough trade exceptions I guess:

Denver - Gave up picks to clear the tax line last summer so I doubt they'd add Aminu to go back over.

OKC - Is already over $20 million over the tax line. I doubt they'd add that much more just for Aminu.

Charlotte - Is near the tax line and has been looking to dump salary, not add it for Aminu.

Looking a little deeper a couple teams got a trade exception today that could be interesting, LAC and Dallas. Getting a couple 2nd round picks for Aminu and then trading for Mirotic or Saric makes a lot of sense.

Who cares what we’re ranked we still have issues scoring against top teams, you know, the teams we’ll be seeing in the playoffs.

We're 16th in defense.

Much better than 30th.

Just saying. We aren't going to win the title this year. And next year we can dump some of those expiring in lopsided deals... If it's the difference from making a significant move, I wouldn't exactly be against it. Not saying I want to miss the playoffs, but if we can grab a major talent... that's something else. Although I doubt Aminu and Harkless would be part of a needle moving deal.

I’m already infuriated picturing Olsheys interview with Brooke after the deadline passes where he hypes up Hood to distract us from the fact that he lost out on Mirotic again.

His injury issues and "personal" issues will make him much cheaper.

Cheaper...? So his salary won't count that much against our cap.... Only that it will..This literally makes no sense when he makes his salary that we will pay and will continue to be be perennially injured.

It happens every season. It's going to happen this season. IMO that's not worth giving ONE asset away for him.

I'm not sure why you keep trying to make me see it your way.

I can't stand that injury prone piece of shit and would HATE it if he were on my favorite team.

I don't care about any of your arguments for Blake Griffin. You'll never sway me...

To be honest, that's probably his idea of being proactive. Olshey has always acted as if everybody around him exists in a world of his own standards. So if somebody was upset he hasn't done enough to improve the team, he would just like that is a stupid question to begin with. Probably why reporters don't even bother to go there anymore.

What reporters lmao does Olshey even take questions from anybody that isn’t on the payroll during the season?

You dont turn that down because "Oh, he might get hurt and he's an asshole!".

You be his trainer then, and get a face full of red pubes.

No, he's GOING to get injured during that contract that has 3 and a half years left on it. If you think he's not going to get injured during that time.... Well you'd be wrong.

Imagine keeping Lillard, not being able to build around the two in a year and a half, Davis walks right the fuck over to LA, they become champions, and we lose our whole core...

Then Dame walks...

Y'all trippin. AD 's injury prone ass isn't worth our entire future.

Yeah, let's end up rebuilding during Dame's prime....

I wanna win WITH Dame.

What's your plan to build around them both?
We would either get AD to extend after this season or move him at the trade deadline in a year for a deal that makes sense. I would trade CJ, Nurk and whoever else to get the chance to build around AD and Dame.

Are there any non-Blazer players you have any respect for?

Also this stupid post just negated the fact that I just showed AD props... And you want me to answer a question you already have the answer to...

Stop making me suffer foolishness...

The concerns about his injury history are understandable. As for him being a "piece of shit", I'll tell you the same thing I told people during the "Jailblazer" hysteria. If you want a friend, go to the shelter and adopt a dog.

I guess it’s like any job, why pump up expectations or work harder for the same pay when you can just keep floating through cashing checks. If Neil goes big and it doesn’t work maybe those checks stop coming.

Having a sackless gm kinda sucks sometimes, especially around playoff time, but honestly if zero playoff or championship expectations are placed on him why should he “go for it”?

I am under no illusion that AD would re-sign here if we weren't able to build around him and Dame. And we wouldn't be able to. He'd walk and we'd be left with a disgruntled Dame.

You keep dame and Nurk or no deal.

No, I want players my son can look at and admire for being good people.

So.... No...

Still holding out hope for another move since his job is probably on the line if Portland doesn’t get out of the first round. But I’m not expecting anything. At least Hoods debut and a joint will distract me from my raaaaage.

Fucking adding Rodney Hood cost us two second round draft picks?! What dumpster diving is going to significantly improve us? That's if a worse team is diluted enough to think they can make the playoffs doesn't grab them first. We are in the same fucking place as we were last year, maybe even worse off.
