So what are you saying? Should we pass on every deal unless it takes us from here to a title in one jump? What advantage is there to losing in the first round as opposed to making it to the second round, or even the WCF? Improvement by steps is still improvement.
Not at all. We just have to realize that these smaller non impactful trades need a shot to confirm one way or another.

It's ok for me to say it b/c it's not like I'm going to jinx it...and since Magic's running the L*kers it'll never happen.but...

I've already expressed my feelings about LeBron and especially "Old LeBron". My trade deadline would be complete if Magic was like "this dude wants me to trade everything I've built up for years, including a promising head coach, so he can hook his buddy up and show that his agent has all the power in today's NBA. Eff him...'Hey Boston? Tatum and some 1sts gets you LBJ'."

Personally I just wanna see the lakers chemistry fall apart. Losing streak. They turn into a trash team. Lebron hates it. The young guys hate it. No playoffs. Burn it down. As a blazer fan that’s the hate I have for the lakers and their fan base. I will enjoy watching it too.

Neil... Any Trade yet? Don’t be scared and hit that button.

But there are moves to be made that can help the incremental approach. I'm fine if that is the plan but you can't just trade for Hood (an unrestricted free agent with no bird rights) and then claim you're still taking the incremental approach. That's a move that only slightly helps this season and most likely not future growth. At least if you traded for picks or a player with time left on his contract we could justify it with the incremental excuse.
Neil is trying to make another trade. I'll be more interested in evaluating the Hood trade after the next one... assuming it actually happens.

Even Toronto traded their best Player/fan fav for a shot at Leonard. Would you have done the same with our fav Dame for a spin the wheel move for Leonard or even Davis now?

Toronto made that move because they saw themselves as one big move from the finals and had a chance to swap a good player for a better player. That is NOT where the Blazers are at. The Blazers are at least 2 steps behind that. Furthermore, it is highly debatable if AD is an upgrade over Dame and Leonard (IMHO) is a selfish dick and not a leader.

That Chant tho while shooting a FT: “Lebron gonna trade you” that will stick for the rest of the season lol

All that is left is to pay Chicago to take Swanigan

Lebron is the worst. It’s amazing how beta he is and his influence has shaped the climate of today’s NBA, where taking shortcuts is encouraged, and disguised under “doing what’s best for me.”

I talk a bunch of shit about him but I also have respect for someone like Russell Westbrook, who didn’t run the first chance he got. Lillard is in the same boat, but guys like that are becoming the exception and Lebron is the main reason why. Fuck him. Can’t wait until he’s gone.

I would have been open to Evan if not for the Hood deal but now that would be a redundant trade since they are very much alike. The idea of getting J. Green from Memphis intrigues me he can bang a little and would finally replace the hole left by Davis to a degree.

LaVar is straight up delusional. Though he has to be thinking he’s more of a character trying to sell a brand than actually believing the shit he says.

I loved it. Probably watched it five times in a row. I mean I feel bad for Ingram but man this really shines a light on Lebron to me. One of the greatest of all time but god damn he’s dirty. The whole narrative was Lebron going to LA to play with the young core and win. Couldn’t take it halfway through the season. Had to plan with his agent and AD and get that nonsense out there and even involved AD’s father talking shit about Boston and how they treated Isaiah just to make Boston look bad so LA had more leverage in this. Makes me happy they don’t wanna take those laker phone calls. Take the Boston offer in the summer. Fuck the lakers

LaVar lost his mind long ago and at this point it would not surprise me if he has a secret cult where he is a god of sorts

Of course if he makes another trade it would change things but I'm talking specifically about if he does nothing else.

I can hear Howie Right now asking Neil: Deal or No Deal? Then stupid Neil said No Deal and choose to open another case... you know what happens next after that.
