Id trade Nurk, he’s a very solid player and I love the offense going through him. AD’s legitimately a top 5 talent though (at least in my opinion), perfect solution I wouldnt want to Add Nurk but if thats what it took I would do it.
 
How many teams have had 2 current first team all nba players on it? That’s not worth Nurk???

I know that. And I'm saying that's not a very smart thing to do. Those two cannot win us a championship in the West; you need more than that. So keep Nurk.

honestly if you go for it and get AD and he leaves ur not “starting” a rebuild around a 30 year old Dame either

You want 30 year old Dame and nobody else of note? That's a surefire way to get him to leave for a supermax somewhere else. Which would be incredibly stupid.

Bullshit. My original offer, which I've been adament about all this time, is CJ, Turner, Collins, and maybe (or preferably, IMO) Simons, plus 2 or 3 firsts.

New Orleans would be insane not to take that, and we would still have a respectable bench, and 3 top-tier players. Dame, Davis, Nurk, Layman/Seth, Chief.

I'd take that over Davis, Dame, Leonard, Seth, and Chief.

Why nobody sees this is beyond me. Why the holy hell would we leave Dame all alone when Davis leaves? He'd have NOBODY to build around. At least with Nurk, we'd still have something, and he'd still be young too.

Why would a rebuilding team looking to get young and start over take Evan Turner and that contract? He almost has negative trade value.
 
What about Gallinari? Still under contract for another year...

God I wish ET and Meyers would have gotten 3 year contracts... (I mean neither should have gotten any contract, but i digress)

So NO gets a SG that wouldn’t pair well with Jrue in the starting lineup(both at over 25 mil per), a horrible contract, a huge question mark, and 3 1s in the late 20s?

Why is this better than what the lakers are offering or what Boston could easily offer?

If AD left I’m guessing we would start the rebuild around whoever we got for Dame, you think a 29-30 year old Dame would take the Max to be part of a rebuild?

Also if you got AD/Dame vets would come, and they’d come cheap.
 
I hate that the Blazers aren't involved but this is crazy and awesome how much movement there's been in the last day
 
What is Harrison Effing Barnes worth? IDK, but it's apparently a lot less than his salary....

Id want to give 28-29 year old Dame the best shot of winning you can, building around AD and Dame is way easier than Dame / CJ and Nurk as evidenced by AD and Co beating them in the playoffs 4-0. If AD leaves its also the year half your team is FA’s you can rebuild you’re going to have to anyways. If they do get to them WCF or something your chances of keeping AD go up.
Would I put Nurk on the table to start? no way, but if they played hardball for him Id do it.

Because CJ alone is better than any of those clowns being offered in LA.

New Orleans does have some leverage, in that they are fielding offers from several teams. They may be "insane not to take" a Cj/Collins/Simons/picks offer, but they do have the option to do exactly that, and demand more (ie Nurk).

Were that to occur, we'd be better served to take the offer than to attempt to play hardball
