My guess is Wesley Johnson.Fuck. Bet it’s for nothing.
Yeah cause Dame and Nurk is championship worthy after AD leaves but Dame and AD cant win a championship? Sorry but AD is on a completely different level then Nurk ever will be and I like Nurk. Then have fun rebuilding around a 30 year old Dame and a skeleton crew. You think our playoff record of first round exits is bad now.......
I’d take Tatum over CJ in a heartbeat and it’s been reported no C’s are off limit in AD discussions.

This is probably true, but wont stop me from wanting it to happen. Ill stop at noon tomorrow or when they trade him to the Lakers for way less then what the Blazers could offer.Blazers don’t have enough for Davis. Can we stop the pipe dream already.
Dude, you gotta pull an all-nighterOkay, that HAVE to be moving other pieces. How late do I stay up tonight or do I got to bed early to be up at O-dark-thirty?
Id take take a top 5 and top 10 guy over a top ten guy and a couple guys who are like 20-40th or so...Nobody is comparing the two. But do you want 3 high ranked players, or 2?
On NBA XM radio today on my drive home I heard the Raptors and Grizz where talking Marc Gasol and Mike Conley for Kyle Lowry and Jonas Valanciunas.I think the Blazers will get Marc Gasol tomorrow and try for a twin towers thing and i think the fact the Blazers have been linked to him says they are thinking same thing. Having 2 big guys who both can go inside and outside will really open the offense for shooter like Dame , CJ and Hood and others.
I have to be honest i am not sure how the deal happens cause i have played with the ESPN trade machine and there are some obvious combo's of Blazer players but not sure Memphis would want them so IF it happens might need a 3rd team.
Looking at his bank account and laughing at his free moneyI wonder what Olshey is doing at this very moment.

Id love that, all I am saying is if they wont bite unless Nurks in the deal then Nurk would be in the deal for me.What about a top 5 guy, top 10 guy, and top 10 Center? Why not AD, Dame, and Nurk, vs AD/Dame?

Nurkic didnt get me excited until he started playing the trade itself was like ok I guess they cant pay plumlee this summer.Name the trades and signings Olshey made in his Portland tenure that had you genuinely excited.
Here’s my list
Nurkic

Well of course theres a lot of if’s but Id take the risk on AD and Hope I could keep him. If he leaves then you rebuild around Dame again. Heck if it looks really bad you could trade AD and try to recover assets. And we're right back to square one when Davis leaves: who do we rebuild around?
I can tell you rebuilding around Nurk and Dame would be a lot easier than rebuilding around just Dame.
And looking at it even deeper: would Dame want to stay here and rebuild at that age? Or would he seek a supermax elsewhere?
And if he left, we'd be lucky to compete with the Knicks and Suns.
I'm looking at each potential step long term. I encourage everyone else to do the same. Yes, it's a lot of "what ifs", but that is what you have to consider when this kind of implication is at stake.

What if...we have an opportunity to trade for another all-NBA player to play alongside Dame, we don't take it, we never advance past the first round, and Dame bounces because he loses all confidence in the front office's ability to build a contender around him?And we're right back to square one when Davis leaves: who do we rebuild around?

I think @tykendo was, he was living in Denver at the time and I remember him saying mostly positive things about Nurk's game.No way in hell you were excited about Nurk
@Scalma and I were pumping up Nurk well before we traded for him.No way in hell you were excited about Nurk
