Weird stat that means absolutely nothing...but Badji had a +11 when everyone else on the team was a minus.

It means everything. Whenever, he went into the game, we got better on both sides of the floor because of his energy.

thought scoot was awful for the most part tonight. got his points from getting up attempts but had a miserable impact on the game.

was world beaters last game, putrid tonight. them's the breaks for a 19 yr old PG.

love to see development but also would at times like to fast forward a few years.

I don't understand how we are closer to the Pistons' inability to rebuild than we are to the Thunder's ability to rebuild solely through youth... we've compiled picks like OKC and will likely compile more at the trade deadline and OKC wasn't worried about getting too young just about having assets to collect young talent that fits together.

Blazers haven't compiled picks like OKC. OKC has a bazillion and they are spread out over the next 6-7 years. Blazers' picks are almost all clumped together 5-7 years from now, and there are only 2 picks and 2 swaps

OKC has added Jalen Williams and Tre Mann from picks from the PG13 trade

But unlike Portland who added flawed role players and Camara from their trades, OKC added SGA who is a top-10 player in the league, and maybe top-5. That's a giant leg up the ladder and Portland doesn't look like they have any leg like that. OKC also added Chet Holmgren and Josh Giddey with their own picks, and those two are miles ahead of Sharpe and Scoot. I'd like to think the Blazer duo will get up to that level, but that's uncertain at this point. And the Blazer duo is 6'3 & 6'5 while that OKC duo is 6'8 and 7'1

I think some other players struggled worse than Scoot.

Camara was 0-5
Wainwright was 0-5
Mays was 0-8

Scoot definitely struggled with the assists and turnovers, but taking 23 shots and getting 25 points is kind of where he is right now. I wouldn't say scoring-wise that he struggled.

Badji with almost double-digit rebounds in his first 'real' game. Saw some things out there (even in garbage time) that are intruiging.

He surprised me with his speed and agility for his size. I wasn't expecting that. I see the intrigue now at least.

Well, not the outcome we were hoping for, but my nephew and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thanks to @SharpeScooterShooter for the parking pass and when we went in to get a sign made and make it up to our seats (300 level) we were gifted a set of seats in 100 level row G….WOW!!! Not a Blazer win, but kinda a huge blazer win in my opinion (thank you Moda for being so cool). Rip city!!!!

It's odd because he is an absolutely elite FT shooter.

It bodes well for the trajectory of his shooting. He's been shooting the 3 ball well for the past 10. He shot 43% from 3 tonight. His finishing is his biggest problem right now though it will improve. I remember when Dame's finishing sucked too.
