not a quality win TBH

Sharpe standing in the corner watching Brogdon/Grant/Ayton...

quality wins are the ones in which Scoot/Sharpe lead us

winning thanks to Brogdon/Grant/Ayton doesn't help our future
These guys needed the experience of contributing to a win, especially Scoot but this was also a win with big contributions from Toumani and Jabari as well. Shae has had wins he was a big part of.

I mean yeah, Brogdon closed this out for us and if the Raptors could have hit open threes at anywhere close to their regular rate we wouldn't have even been in this one... but I'll take it. Wins are going to be hard to come by this season.

@inconceivable you and your optimism were right sir. Great call!

They just don't know how to set him up.
Billups needs to do a much better job getting him easy looks. Also saw him posted deep on the block a number of times and didn't get the ball from Grant/Scoot for whatever reason.

Plus as Scoot gets more comfortable in the pick & roll DA should continue to get more and more easy looks.

Raptors 4-29 from three, 13%
Blazers spazzy perimeter D put pressure on shooters
Our defense was fantastic tonight, and/or the Raptors suck at offense. Looks like Dame would have helped Toronto tonight :P , but also I'm pretty sure I wouldn't trade Dame for Barnes if I was Toronto that kid is talented AF!

Really?!? A win where they aren't the leading producers doesn't count?

How about having vets who show them some of what it takes to win?

I guess any game where Lillard didn't lead the way didn't count either in your eyes?

Get real. They are a team and we are loaded with guys that are still learning to play in the NBA so if learning and winning some along the way doesn't count as a quality win for you. Prepare for an even more disappointing season.

We won! Why isn't Scoot in the Hall of Fame yet? The NBA hates the Blazers! REEEEEEEEE!

comment of the week. \o/

gosh darn Blazers won, but it only counts if Scoot hits the game winner.

Was thinking the same, but Brogdon actually gave Scoot the ball at one point and Scoot immediately gave it back.
Seems like it is still bit too much for him.

And we did it without Williams

It wasn't the triple double i expected from scoot. In fact, far from it. But despite fouling out, he did show glimpses of what he can do. He also had many passes that would have been assists but were missed.

I like the improvement I see from Shaedon as well. He didn't score as much but the willingness to share the ball and defense and rebounds are great to see.

I was high on Murray but Chauncey made the right call in Walker and Camara as backup forwards.

I missed pregame chatter. Is Timelord injured? He was not in the game and no mention of him in thr broadcast

Ayton dominated.

Grant and Brogdon played superb.

Overall, great win.
