These guys needed the experience of contributing to a win, especially Scoot but this was also a win with big contributions from Toumani and Jabari as well. Shae has had wins he was a big part of.not a quality win TBH
Sharpe standing in the corner watching Brogdon/Grant/Ayton...
quality wins are the ones in which Scoot/Sharpe lead us
winning thanks to Brogdon/Grant/Ayton doesn't help our future
Billups needs to do a much better job getting him easy looks. Also saw him posted deep on the block a number of times and didn't get the ball from Grant/Scoot for whatever reason. They just don't know how to set him up.
Our defense was fantastic tonight, and/or the Raptors suck at offense. Looks like Dame would have helped Toronto tonightRaptors 4-29 from three, 13%
Blazers spazzy perimeter D put pressure on shooters
We reached 100 vs the Clippers

Um, okay. It kinda helps that the Raptors can't shoot for shit.Raptors 4-29 from three, 13%

Don't agree. They have entirely different skill sets.Scoot can learn a lot from Malcom
He has been so good this season. Huge jump from last season.Stats have Jabari with only one block - I'm sure he had at least two and maybe more.

The Statisticians robbed Sharpe of at least one steal as well. Walker looked great tonight.Stats have Jabari with only one block - I'm sure he had at least two and maybe more.

Scoot fouled out in the final minutes, so I think it was probably a good thing for Scoot to see what Brogdon did to close out a game. How does Brogdon ball hogging and hero balling in the final minutes help Scoot growth?
excellently. That is my goal for the seasonHow did that work out for ya? Jk
Yeah, this season he's being left on the court for more than 2 minutes a gameHe has been so good this season. Huge jump from last season.
Figuring it out just has to be a priority. They just don't know how to set him up.

It wasn't the triple double i expected from scoot. In fact, far from it. But despite fouling out, he did show glimpses of what he can do. He also had many passes that would have been assists but were missed. These guys needed the experience of contributing to a win, especially Scoot but this was also a win with big contributions from Toumani and Jabari as well. Shae has had wins he was a big part of.
I mean yeah, Brogdon closed this out for us and if the Raptors could have hit open threes at anywhere close to their regular rate we wouldn't have even been in this one... but I'll take it. Wins are going to be hard to come by this season.
@inconceivable you and your optimism were right sir. Great call!
