There's quite a difference between, "I'm pissed I didn't get all the credit for the rings I won" (which makes no sense, given they won without him) and "I regret going and winning those rings".

Even if he said it to Joe behind closed doors I could see it but Miami would have to find a third team that really likes Herro because we don't need him and we need more draft assets than Miami has. Even then though if I were Joe I would tell Dame that I saw the interview and he said Brooklyn as well so let's get what we can out of them. That's if Dame even wants out... still just waiting and seeing. Woj isn't always right but he said Dame gave the team 7-10 days to see what they could do so we've still got a week or more unless Joe throws in the towel.
 
just my gut feeling, if Dame gets traded, he ends up in Philly
 
I listened to Fischer again, and he said a lot of teams were waiting on Dame to make his decision, he's the first domino to fall.

Then thinking about the tweet that account said about Dame making up his mind. I think it was less about whether something would happen soon with Dame and more about how other moves from other teams are all dependent on what happens with Dame.

Same thing happened with Durant last offseason.

That sucks cause no one is going to do other deals with us if everyone is waiting to try and get Dame.

If that's the truth. He's not going to say that just to get the ball rolling. The guy takes his integrity seriously.

Also he's already said that he doesn't want to be traded he just added that we have to get better as a team because winning is now a huge priority to him.

I think you are right about that. I also think if Dame set up some scenarios that would keep him here and Joe didn't think he could get any of those done he would tell Dame he would try, tell the world he isn't trading Dame and try to gain back a little leverage for negotiations either in making moves prior to what he might see as an inevitable trade of Dame or just in that Dame trade situation. Hopefully that's what he would do... I don't know how shrewd Joe is.

Actually the best situation would be if Joe told Dame he was doing his best and if that isn't good enough he would trade Dame and Dame said he wanted to stay and would stop hinting at anything otherwise.

This guy, who seems kind of neurotic, says they should go after a wing in FA, a 3-4. He points out that the FA class is really bad. His first target and only one he seems enthusiastic about for the MLE is Jalen Mc Daniels, who he thinks Sixers will not be able to afford if they sign Harden. He likes his defensive versatility and rebounding.

They better find a third team that values the hell out of Maxey and Tobias because they don't have a lot of valuable pieces and can only trade either their 2029 FRP or their 2030 FRP... the rest can't be touched because they traded them all away and Stepien. I don't think they have enough.

If Dame asks out it's good that Joe will have a bunch of other teams interested in Dame but realistically he has to be willing to tell a team like Brooklyn that they better be ready to give up fair value for him because he will take less value from another team that can be more competitive with Dame if the Nets are going to try and jerk him around.

I never said Dame would regret going somewhere else and gettting a ring that you brought up the Durant comparison to. I said that I believe Dame would much prefer a chance to win a ring in PDX over Miami even if the Miami chance was higher.
