IF the team was moved to Seattle, the league would quickly fix it and put a team here. They know how bad and counter productive it would be to move a team to Seattle at the expense of a healthy franchise.

Oh wait, JoDy NeEdS tO sElL tHe TeAm!!

The league isn't going to allow it to happen. If they did, they wouldn't be worried about a team being in Portland.

We keep losing this bad the NBA gonna get supcisious

Swear to god, the inferiority complex among fans is legendary here.

If the league didn't care about Portland being in Portland, they wouldnt' be in Portland.

This is probably the worst ran franchise in the NBA.

Even the Wizards understand the tank and are starting and playing big minutes to all their youngins

Without question we're the worst.

We can't even commit to rebuilding, we're paying Ant Grant Ayton 90 million. We started the off-season in the luxury tax and had to cough up two lottery picks to cut Brogdon salary.

We're so bad it's comical, like you almost couldn't design a worse roster if you had a blindfolded monkey picking names out of a hat.

What is Dopey Joe's next move? I bet he'll do nothing. We'll lose the lottery, he'll draft another crappy player, and we get to do this over again next year.

It’s the Dark Ages indeed. Every team has them…I just hope ours doesn’t last decades like the Clippers or Lions or Detroit Tigers.

The skill level between these two teams is outrageously one-sided.

One team does the fundamentals to play close to maximum potential. The other doesn't. I mean everyone on Memphis is a credible shooter and can counter that with a shot fake that at the very least allows them to get a couple of dribbles into the defense if your defensive footwork is bad.

Speaking of bad defensive footwork, Ant looks like one thing he learned from Dame is how to allow any offensive player to get two feet into the paint driving on him.

And while I thought Deni looked like a worthwhile addition in the first couple of weeks, these last few games he's looked like maybe one of the worst trades in Blazer history, to give up 2 1sts and a 2nd along with Brogdon to get a player that couldn't even defend a straight drive to the hoop.

Ant's playing like he can't wait to get traded.

The problem is he's hurting his trade value by doing that.

Is it my imagination, BTW, or has he shot the ball poorly in the first half of almost every game?

That game was a stinker. Seriously shitty play from our guys against JJJ and the Memphis bench.

When was the last time the Blazers gave up a future draft pick that could be as high as #2 overall? I was one of the very few who was against the trade, but it's been much worse than even I expected.

Not your imagination

I don't think a guy with the body of work that Ant has as far as shooting, is actually hurting his trade value. People know this guy is a bucket and that he's in a bad situation... oh and that he can't play defense to save his life. Whatever a guy who can score in bunches but is only effective in that role is worth is going to be Ant's worth... I'm just not sure what that is around the league.

Wait, we gave up two firsts?

Maybe not. But there also are a lot of examples of guys that peaked or got reputations of not playing hard and their productivity started to decline despite a promising early career.
