Clingan too slow to rotate to CP3 that time and give up an easy 3. Then runs down to post up CP3 and gets stripped by a tiny defender when he didn't go up strong.

Had some nice baskets after that though.

Spurs broadcasters mentioned Billups said there was a very heavy minute restriction on Clingan

Scoot simply is not a threat from 3pt land. Teams know this and will let him shoot away. I really like the guy but he simply is a horrible horrible shooter.

Rest, two quick techs gets him the night off.

CP3 decided to follow LeBron plan and rest against the Blazers when he realized Scoot was going to be physical with him tonight.

Scoot is really limited offensively - basically needs four teammates on the floor all 3pt shooter and then the offense can have him drive.

That's a system you might setup for Westbrook when he's averaging a triple double over an entire NBA season. Scoot obviously just isn't close to that level.

Recommend watching it. The Blazers aren't winning which is fine. Looks so much better without Ayton out there. I've even enjoyed some of Ant play this game.

Look I’ll admit I didn’t want Clingan. He really can pack the middle and if he can keep shit honest with the 3 he can be a real unicorn honestly. I’m not being a smartass. I just hope he can stay healthy. I worry about that with the gangly ones.

I mean it’s really the NBA today. I’ve been off work and watched games around the league for brief periods and I’m appalled at the amount of 3’s that get chucked up. I watched Philly go 0-5 from 3 on one possession tonight and it was early in the game.
