Game Thread 2025-26 GAME #19 - BLAZERS VS SPURS - WEDNESDAY - NOVEMBER 26, 2025 - 7:00 PM - KUNP - BLAZERVISION (3 Viewers)

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

This team needs to come to practice tomorrow. They don't deserve time off.

Nothing good ever comes from being a fan of this team. Always disappointment. Always.

Played that game like we were brain dead.

The players should pay the fans back the price of admission for that performance.

I am not even upset I am just numb cause I can handle losing because the team is beat up but outside of Deni and I think Rob Will and maybe I am missing someone else. This team tonight looked like it was already on vacation and if they do not want to give a fuck then why should I get myself bent out of shape if they decide to show no heart.

They should. It should be a refund and a public apology.

You know, seriously, at some point, you need to learn.

"What do we do consistently when we win? What do we do consistently when we win that we don't do when we lose?"

How many games like this have we seen this year where we don't even bring our C game against a team missing its best player? This is a real concern moving forward. It shouldn't be a thing at this point. And you've got Jrue and Dame that should provide that player leadership (although, I have to be honest, I don't know if Dame is a guy that can provide much to younger players about this kind of thing ... it looks like Shaedon learned perimeter defense from Dame).

Toumani, if you aren't making your 3s, stop firing them up even more. It's not your game. Murray, do something, do anything, for gosh sakes, look like you care.

Deni with the mental block on the FTs. Jeramie more concerned tonight with trying to get to the line than just going to the basket strong with your shot. And Shaedon again, takes one weak to the basket with the game still in doubt and misses ... so the next time he comes down and chucks a 3 and misses that, too.

BTW, the Blazers could learn a lot from the Spurs. Even without their two best players, they do the details. Their spacing is immaculate. Their movement without the ball is immaculate. They do the little things we do not. It helps that they, like almost every team in the league other than the Blazers, values shooting with its role player. It helps to have guys that, if they have to play, you can count on to make wide-open just shots or be a threat to ball fake and drive.

I don't understand how these players are worth millions? They don't deserve that kind of money. They get paid and then they don't give two shits.

Even if the Blazers figure it out, the league will never allow this franchise to be anything but losers.

what I saw:

I agree with whoever it was that said the Spurs were a lot better at the details tonight

* Portland was outrebounded by 9 tonight, but it wasn't because the Spurs were stronger, it was because they were quicker to the ball
* and that quickness showed in the Spurs having 12 steals to Portland's 3
* and the Spurs had half of the turnovers that Portland had and outscored the Blazers by 12 in points off turnovers

that all adds up to the Spurs just outworked and outhustled Portland tonight and in my view showed better BBIQ.

* Deni had a good game tonight with 37-8-6 while shooting 5-8 on three's. BUT, his 6 missed FT's and 6 turnovers were critical
* getting Sharpe back was nice; but 4-5 on two's vs 0-3 on three's seems too familiar.
* Camara has definitely been the most disappointing Blazer so far. I expect shooting slumps but his defense has cratered...why?

chance for some cup glory tonight, but the Blazer cup is empty, again

I think the team looks like it lacks motivation but maybe they are just lacking direction that guys like Jrue, Scoot and Blake should be providing on the floor. This should have been the first game in a few years that our team should have really been hungry for but they didn't look like it.

I think the better team won the game all injuries considered. If all of our guys are ingaged we can be a live dog in any game but they really have to want it. We aren't good enough to win going through the motions or with only Deni looking like he is hungry for the win.

What more motivation do you need when you are making millions?

Agree with @PCmor7 that Spurs do fundamentals. It's how a team wins when things aren't going their way. It's coaching. Not in game but between games, in practice over and over until it becomes second nature. I understand team changed coaches unexpectedly but why haven't they been learning this?

Wish they would have pulled that out.
Brutal schedule coming up.
Another game against the Thunder and then 4 more road games.
The beginning of the season has not been easy on these guys.

Might be the coaching, but it also can be stubborn players. I don't think it's quite as prevalent as it might have been say 10 years ago, but sometimes entourages, agents and personal trainers become blocks between players being more receptive to coaching and understanding that mastering the little things and the nuances of team play will make them better players and advance their reputation.

I don't want to crush Shaedon too much, because last night could just be a case of rust or maybe he's trying to put it all together ... and he has a lot of God-given ability, so there's a lot to put together ... but sometimes I watch him and his demeanor and I just think "Does this guy REALLY want it?" I just see things with him that give me the vibe that he is fine with being very good but lacks that fire where he wants to be great. Maybe not fair to compare him to SGA, because SGA is elite, but you look at their numbers at similar ages and they are comparable. The thing is you could see SGA even early in his career and he had a great understanding of his own game and what he wanted to be. And you watch him play and it's not the athleticism that stands out to me, it's the skill. He's obviously put in an incredible amount of time pushing himself and getting better in empty gyms and weightrooms. Does Shaedon? Does anyone know what Shaedon's offseason regimen is like?

People always hate on players when they get paid but underperform slightly.
When young guys get paid like that there is more that happens to them that can cause distractions or difficult decisions that can affect a players focus, and drive.

Its well documented they dont practice much in-season.
