if players are struggling for confidence, im not sure letting them start and implode like this is a boost to the ole confidence metric.
put them in where they can succeed (potentially) and build. he has had a couple of ok'ish games since coming back, but everyone has also been gassing him up. he needs to focus on just doing a few things well, passing + ball retention + defense , let the scoring come in time. he is completely DEAD from 3, yet due to gassing, he still throwing em up like he's gonna 'break' the slump n be good to go from there.

I might be wrong but it looks like either Splitter has lost this team and/or they have checked out and for the most part do not give a shit. This team is SOFT as fuck and they let the refs get them rattled then they do stupid shit on the court.

Scoot's like a dead battery. There's no energy there. Nothing done with conviction. He's getting burned by Reed Sheppard off the dribble and everyone else is forced to scramble to cover for his breakdown.

This is a guy that either doesn't believe he can play at this level anymore or who just doesn't really care.

it’s pretty good! It’s the only Korean bbq that I’ve been to so I can’t really compare to others. It’s a chain so it’s probably not as good as some other ones.

We haven’t tried the premium menu yet, but today they were offering to comp our drinks and even a beer or two if we went premium. It was enticing for the ribeye and waygu.

I don’t like beef or pork belly and my wife doesn’t like bulgogi beef so it’s pretty much just getting normal meat haha. The cooking it yourself is what draws me in tbh

Yeah, never understood that. Guy couldn't shoot for shit in the G-league (what little he did play)...

He really could've benefited from being a backup with Dame being the starter (actually, still could). He's definitely not lived up to any ounce of the hype, and until he can shoot north of 37% from 3, he'll be a disappointment.

We have gotten 11 more free throws than them, but yeah there are a lot of calls going whistleless. There was a run there in second half by the Rockets, where the refs stopped calling fouls on them. Letting them grab and hit the shit out of us. They did call some late in the second our way. It does seem they helped Houston with their run.

If it did, I think it would have manifested immediately upon his return, but he played well the first couple of weeks. I don't know if there was a game in there you could see was "poor."

Since then, though, aside from the T-Wolves game, every game has been poor. Leads me to believe if there was something specific that ignited this, it happened around the time of the Nuggets or Suns games.

He's playing rushed and tbh, like he's a little desperate. Honestly, if he wasn't the 3rd pick in the draft, I'd be perfectly fine if they just let him walk.

Here's why I'm less inclined to say stuff like "he's still young" (while obviously that is true)...when Shaedon was in his 1st, 2nd and 3rd years, he showed a LOT more than Scoot has.

Outside of that stretch last year where he looked competent, he's looked a lot more like Keljin Blevins than a marketable guard.

A shot can be fixed but the problem is, the premise of Scoot is that he would be a down hill attacker and I'm not seeing any of that for whatever reason. He can get to the free throw line if he applies himself, but it doesn't look good. Seems like a mental issue right now.
