Game Thread 4/16/17 Game 3 Montreal Canadiens vs New York Rangers

Here are my issues with that 717.

We scored in Montreal last game. And we did this against TB and Pitt at home as well. We scored 27 goals in game 6 at TB...and didn't get a sniff in game 7 at home.

This is a pattern at home against 3 teams now. It is a big issue. Maybe in their heads now.

And someone put out an APB for 93, 13, and 20.

Yeah but how many shots do you see completely miss the net or end up right in the mid section of the goalie?
 
The last guys I would take out are Fast or Glass, the 4th line has been our best line sadly.

Kreider had a chance early on and blew it. Mika and Hayes have been ghosts. Let's not let Step off the hook either. Only time I hear his name is because of a turnover.

That's always been an issue regardless of who was on our roster. Stepan is probably the worst at it lol
 
Right...that is the issue...ONE chance for 20. Not a sniff for 13 or 93. Crazy.

Continuation of the shell they went into in the third period of last game. It's like the equivalent of prevent defense in football.

Yep. They deserve to be down like 3-0 at least. Hardly any good scoring chances let alone shots. Its almost like they think "Hey lets get down 2-1 in the series and then play". I don't fukkkkking get it. Team is a disgrace at MSG.

That said they can still tie this up. At least freaking test Price. Every shot from the perimeter and from a crappy angle. Meanwhile Hank has made like 5 saves from in close in the slot on great chances.

Kreider seems to have it in his head that he can't go near Price this series because he hurt him in 2014.
 
I want to be confident, but how can we be when the team simply doesn't score at home in the playoffs. Maybe Price has made one semi- medium tough save...maybe. 12 shots...pouring it on.

Hard to see us scoring in the 3rd, but I'll watch and root. And if the Habs get the next goal turn off the lights on the way out.

Please score a goal...
 
Just get a goal in the 3rd and were even but Chuck/RangerFan is right this is a disturbing fucking pattern

This. So this. Not only that but he seems to be pressing because he wants to show everyone how great he is instead of just playing his game and going north/south.
 
Need to bounce somewhere around the net. Enough of the east/west stuff.

If the Habs score the next goal it's definitely game and the fans there should litter the ice with trash to make the team feel more comfortable with how they play on home ice....like garbage lol.
 
This is why that last game was really hurtful. It would've given room for home ice issues and still would've been a best of 3.
 
SC if you can't score goals on home ice you deserve to lose the series. They got a split which for most teams on the road is the goal
 
LMAO. Markov SLASHES Zucc and gets nothing. Markov then comes charging at Zucc and Zucc puts his arms up and Markov gets a stick in the face and gets a penalty. Lmao.
 
I never agree with changing the way you have all season. It's not just the playoffs but somewhere down the stretch the Rangers changed their game. You don't see the same speed game up and down the ice which was a major advantage for them. This club is not going to be successful with this same dump and chase style. It creates nothing for them offensively.

Teams FORCED them to change because they took away the stretch pass. The difference between this team and others is that other teams adjust and can still be successful while this team doesn't adjust and when they do they're beyond clueless what to do.
 
Wow. AV keeps chewing his gum while Nash gets high sticked that leads directly to that goal. Glass needs to hurt someone. Fuck this and these refs.
 
Refs are horrible but Rangers getting what they deserve

If they don't score (unlikely) that will be 4 of last 5 home home playoff games are shut outs. LMFAO
 
PP failures zap alot out of them. Has to start working.

This team has no clue how to play defense. Two guys play the guy at the blue line leaving 3 Canadiens WIDE OPEN down low. Only this team lol.
