Maybe we are like the Spurs of point guards. They go Robinson-Duncan we go Dame-Scoot. I know it’s way too soon but this guy gives me the vibe he doesn’t think Portland is just some shithole in the middle of nowhere. It’s always nice to have players that actually like the city.
 
What do we think the chances are of trading Scoot this summer? Now that he’s in Portland wearing a jersey, are we truly committed to keeping him?
 
I mean if Jaylen Brown or.Bridges became available for Scoot the Blazers probably consider it. But that seems very unlikely, so I'd say we keep Scoot. Sharpe is probably least likely to be traded on the team and I'd put Scoot next.

Looks like a video from Scoot official account.

He has a close relationship with Steph, especially trying to follow some of his offcourt charity. Steph mentions they have a very similar mindset and values. Great to hear.

We lucked out on getting Scoot. I like the Robinson Duncan Spurs analogy. Yeah the twin towers were awkward at times but if worked great as Robinson aged and they got two titles. Scoot and Dame could be similar.

I'll go Monday through Friday and also work remotely the whole week so will be a pretty boring Vegas trip. I've been to Vegas 30 times so seen it all already.

Super excited to watch two Blazer games.

Been over 100 everyday for two weeks straight in Austin so I'm used to it. Yeah would've preferred it in cold Canada or Alaska lol. At least Vegas flights are super cheap and short.
 
No offense to Scoot, he may be the second coming like you guys are all predicting, but he also hasn't proven shit in the NBA. I'm I alone in my hesitation to anoint him?

I don't see that anyone needs to annoit or not annoint him.

Just be excited he's an elite prospects, NBA ready, and a great attitude.

Yeah we'll see what he actually does in NBA games. We can all be very excited but it doesn't mean you need to be 100% convinced he'll be an all-star either.
 
I'm curious if Scoot is a good lob passer unlike Dame

If he's a good lob passer he's gonna make a lot of Sport Center with Sharpe on the receiving end
 
watching some young Westbrook highlights. If used to measure what could be a fantastic career for Scoot, the Blazers will be stoked !!

I think by all accounts him and Scoot are cool but I'm not sure he's cool with Scoot as a teammate.

I don't think it's Scoot, it's the talent of the team.

If we had traded Ant Nurk for Bridges Claxton I think Dame would be esctatic to have that group starting and he'd be fine having Scoot back him up as well as play at times together.

But if we have Little starting, Nurk injured and are aiming for the lottery again I think Dame will be unhappy.

So it's the lack of talent on the rest of the roster, and the possibility of more tanking that would concern Dame; not Scoot.
