George Karl son took #7 for the preseason. We were all mad about it lolYeah... I guess.... I'm just saying that nobody has taken #7 since Roy left (if I remember correctly).
Yes. And so was Melo. But neither of those dudes were the heir apparent.Wasn't Gary Payton 00?
I think it's a bad look to pick a number anywhere near zero.
Pick a new number. He's worn 0 his whole career. What do you want him to do?
Can you provide me links to these interviews?

The Real #1 Pick:
Why Scoot Henderson is a Generational Talent
Hmm. I don't see it. I'm very happy we got Scoot, but right now he's a less-athletic Russell Westbrook. Let's hope he proves otherwise, but let's not let the hype train get out of control.
(Mind you, I did compare Dame to Mo Williams when we drafted him. Here's hoping I'm similarly wrong.)
I am confused with the narrative as of late that he is a "less athletic Westbrook" .....especially after watching those highlights. Russ might have been as athletic, but I question if he was more athletic. Regardless, I think Scoot's mid-range shot off the dribble is already better.
Agree. That's why I have been calling him athletic Chris Paul. There is a cerebral side to his game, and he also seems to have that passion for winning.I watched Westbrook play at UCLA and thought he was an insane athlete. He proved it in the NBA. I don't think, from what I've seen, that Scoot is on par athletically. Of course he's really young. But I would say that Scoot appears to have a little better foundation of basketball skills and BBIQ
I didn't know I was involved in a "narrative." Just reporting the way it looks to me. As with Darius Miles, his length helps his dunks look more spectacular than his athleticism.I am confused with the narrative as of late that he is a "less athletic Westbrook" .....especially after watching those highlights. Russ might have been as athletic, but I question if he was more athletic. Regardless, I think Scoot's mid-range shot off the dribble is already better.

Scoot in the wild today at Raising Canes, wearing his own jersey. Probably wearing it to bed too.
