Which one were you thinking of, for Prior? If Lane, then you're way off :P. He's one of the most stable characters, even though he's dying of AIDS. He is slightly flamboyant though, because he also did drag.

ok, I didn't remember how flamboyant the character was. someone who is stable . . . dying of AIDS . . . flamboyant . . . dressed in drag . . . you just described Tom Hanks' entire career. Ha--but seriosly, then what about Ralph Fiennes? That's the best I can do.

How about Tommy Lee Jones for Roy? Then you could go with Will Smith for Belize.

Joe needs to be someone who is clean-cut, looks good in a suit, probably pretty well-built, and can pretend to be very conservative while masking a different side underneath. What about Matt Damon?

For some reason, giving the name Will Smith to a teacher, for a black character, seems too... forced. I think the 4 central characters should be fine, to be honest.

Tommy Lee Jones and Damon are also great suggestions for their characters. I think I can run with them.
