Kemba/Lebron/AD is a title contender next year if they get the right role players around em

The big upside for NO was that they took dumped salary too and gained little. If they can keep spending under control and draft well . . . except they are probably a lot like Portland when it comes to FAs. Zion even sounded like he wanted a bigger spotlight. I wonder if Holiday is available on the cheap.

This is full Philly strategy, no? [I know, never go full Philly.]

They didn't even dump Solomon Hill. That would've prevented the Lakers from being able to offer a max.

Cracks me up Woj acting like NO didnt just get completely ripped off. They would have likely been better hanging on to AD and letting him play out his contract and having Cap space next year.

They now have the #1 and #4 picks in this draft and two future firsts. They also have a solid core going for them as well with JRue, Randle, and now Ingram.

They are expected to pick Zion at #1. Who do you think they will target at #4?
Randle is a free agent.

At #4 I'm guessing either Hunter or Culver.

I think it's way too early to call the fit on this one. Ball and Zion both push hard. Ingram runs well. If they want to run the ball down other teams throats then they have a good start.

Don't forget that losing AD now, not next season, gets them a better draft pick in 2020 also, and keeps the FA money available.

They got the #1 with AD there this year.

Cant believe the Pels were so dumb they didnt even make them take Hill. Now LAL probably gets Kawhi or someone like that and well they become the best team in the conference I guess. Good job idiots in New Orleans.
Bullshit.

Like I said before, no way in hell would I want to trade for a injury-prone (yet talented) player who's already made his mind on where he wants to play. Just imagine if he gets hurt AGAIN and misses extensive periods of time. No thanks.

No way in hell do I think Kawhi goes to LAL. To the Clippers is more understandable because he's not all about the glamour as suggestively reported before. The bigger question is: will he even leave TOR? I don't think so but I sure as hell hope not.

I hope we do not play the pelicans ever again in the Playoffs, Lonzo and Jrue is a elite defensive duo and they got Zion in the Paint, ugh

What part? Im not saying they get Kawhi but they have the money to sign another max guy dont they?

Not to put words in his mouth, but he might be saying it's Bullshit that the Lakers get what they want and screw the Pelicans at the same time. And possibly having the chance to sign Kawhi.
