It’s pretty cool 2 of them are Blazers.

I haven't watched any of All-Star weekend in 15+ years. It's one of the most over-hyped sports events in the world. I miss the old days of some great dunkers competing against each other.Disagree - it's great that they are also regular season games. It would be stupid to have it be any different.
Will be super exciting if some year the Blazers go to Vegas for the semifinal/finals.
Now what I don't understand is the point of the all-star game or weekend.
SemanticsIs it cool or does it suck?
Bad deal for the Suns... Book is a nice player and a fringe all-star. He is not a franchise altering player worthy of being paid the most in the leagueBooker with that big big money.

Booker....6M/month, every month, for 2 years; $199,000/day. $8,276 an hour, every hour of every day for 2 years
nice work if you can get it
Yeah this new CBA is very penalizing for supermax deals too. I don't think it's an overpay because he is their best player and the value of having a guy that the fans connect with is huge but the cap ramifications do make the deal suck for the Suns if they intend on contending again.Bad deal for the Suns... It's not insanity. Insanity is people worth hundreds of billions of dollars.Insanity
Go! Lay! Down!Red Panada has a really tall unicycle that she's not using for a while.
It's the same supermax deal Dame signed with the Blazers and many all-stars have. The % is the same it's just the cap continues to go up. Next summer there will be guys with bigger extensions, then the summer after bigger extensions, etc etc.Yeah this new CBA is very penalizing for supermax deals too. Good question. Yes we're passed 75million per year so how many 10% increases until that's $100 million. It’s already $50 million a year. That’s crazy money. I wonder who will be the first player to get $100 million in a year?
