Some sportswriter predicted Cooper Flagg will be to NBA what Caitlin Clark is to WNBA.
No.
He will be good, draw crowds. But how many of you could name any WNBA player before Clark, let alone recognize one? People who can't name any other WNBA player know her. She is face of the league. NBA has no shortage of mega stars, LeBron, Steph, Jokic. Rising stars SGA & Halliburton. It's just not comparable.

No dis on Flagg. Just he's not going to be face of NBA, at least not yet.
Who are you talking to? I’m pretty sure everyone on this board could name WNBA players and point them out. Nevermind the world knows who Brittney Griner is.

Sources: Jazz finalizing buyout with veteran Jordan Clarkson

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/45620098/sources-jazz-finalizing-buyout-veteran-jordan-clarkson

Jordan Clarkson is finalizing a contract buyout with the Utah Jazz, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania, which will make the veteran guard an unrestricted free agent.

He will target contending clubs for his new home, and interest from multiple playoff teams is already expected.

Clarkson, 33, averaged 16.2 points and 3.7 assists for the Jazz last season. He has been one of the best bench scorers in the league since arriving in Utah six seasons ago and won Sixth Man of the Year in 2020-21.

With Sexton needing picks to be traded for an expiring Nurk, and now Clarkson buyout it seems to further prove scorers with poor D like Ant don't have value.

Isn't it unusually quiet with free agency news? Thought it started 45 minutes ago.

Usually there was a flood of announcements the minutes it opens.

Not sure if they made the rules more strict so now teams and agents are following the rules or what.

Well there goes the DFS idea... that Rockets roster is looking very good for next season.
